Pasco, WA, July 2024I wasn't happy with the services recently provided. I have a Sears Protection Plan that didn't include Appliance Maintenance. When scheduling a refrigerator maintenance appointment, the Sears Representative told me that I would need to pay out of the pocket since my plan doesn't have the coverage. I agreed to pay for the service. My refrigerator is in excellent condition; I just wanted the technician to check it to make sure everything is working properly. I asked the technician to open the back of the refrigerator to check everything there, but I was told that it requires electrical license and they are not supposed to do that. I'm not sure why I made this appointment if no services were performed on my refrigerator. Two years ago I had an appliance maintenance coverage, and the technician not just cleaned the fridge, but he also opened the back of the refrigerator, vacuumed it, cleaned the freezer, on top of checking the garbage disposal and water heater. I was very satisfied with the services provided two years ago in 2022. It appears Sears changed the policy, and nowadays the maintenance technicians are not capable to perform quality service. I was charged for that service, although I wasn't sure what they charge me for. Bad experience.

Corpus Christi, TX, July 2024He was not the least understanding that what he was telling me about the services to be rendered was not what I was told when I made the appointment. I was told that the day before the appointment I would be given a two hour window of when the technician would arrive. He told me "they lied" and expected me to suddenly be fine. I received notice the technician was on the way and he was there within 10 minutes of being notified which is a problem when the client has three dogs to lock up for the technician's safety. He got the washer going again by merely plugging it into another outlet. It seems like he only looked at the dryer. He handed me his phone and said "sign here" saying I had to sign "a couple things for the dryer" but I could not see what I was signing as the entire phone was blank other than the word signature. When I inquired about what exactly I was signing he got irritated. The lack of communication and integrity within this company is deplorable. I will never call for service again.

Alexandria, VA, July 2024I had arranged on 7/17 for a tech to inspect both my covered washer and dryer this morning 7/18. I specifically requested that both be done on a single visit. The tech who came was adamant that he could not inspect the washer, only the dryer, and was very unpleasant to my wife about it. Finally, he did ensure that the washing machine also was functioning properly. He could benefit from some coaching in breaking bad news diplomatically.

Hampton, GA, July 2024The technician didn't have the needed part and left in the middle of the service call to take an hour lunch break. No sure how that is keeping the customer satisfied when this customer works nights.

Getting a service person to come and do fo;;ow up repairs on our dishwasher VERY POOR - that is no one has come yet though there have been 3 appointments scheduled so far with no response. Parts to repair the dishwasher are still sitting in our living room in the boxes.

Haymarket, VA, June 2024At the beginning his demeanor was very different than at the end. I think it was because he thought I was recording him halfway through but I was just holding the phone to my chest as I have severe nerve damage. Regardless even though we became so at friendly at the end that was his start he did not want me to come out and watch him and when I did he claimed it was all fixed and done and wanted me to sign it before he even checked the pressures or took it apart. I refuse until he did the work and then I came out there with the phone to my chest just because it hurt my hand and I have serious nerve damage as recently diagnosed by John Hopkins hospital. He then proceeded at my request to try to check the pressures but he didn't as he wasn't sure what was wrong with his equipment he said but it didn't show any pressures. He then hooked it to the second machine and it didn't show any pressures. Therefore he couldn't have shown any of the work done in the beginning when he wanted me to sign the fact that there had been done. He said this was because of the system the way the system signs the software but that hasn't happened in the last 12 years so I don't know. Maybe this offer has changed in last 12 years but he was successful and having me sign it after he thought the recorder was on or at least I think he did I can't prove that was a case. I signed it after each machine as best I could. My hand was shaking. After he finished checking the second machine that the pressures worked and got that working you change it to the first machine and then all of a sudden the pressure was able to be measured. He said at 72° anything over 100 is acceptable. I don't know that that's true or not but I do know that the last person that was here said there was a leak in the second valve and needed to be checked in very hot temperature is to see the pressure causing the condensation on the valve. At least that's what I remember. He was a very informed and smart person working on my ac.
