Albuquerque, NM, November 2024The scheduler did not get my name or the product correct, and Michael did not call to obtain more information regarding the problem to be repaired. After working on the downdraft vent, Michael said the parts needed are not available. We were charged for the visit. However, Michael did not identify the parts that are needed, and did not include any information about the parts that are no longer available. We have determined that the parts that are likely to be needed are available and that we have been charged for a diagnostic visit when no real diagnosis was undertaken. The services provided are unacceptable and we have spent a substantial amount of time trying to get a refund but have been transferred from person to person without any relief. We will not use Sears Home Services ever again! A 0 on any rating scale. Seems like a home repair scam.

Mount Vernon, NY, November 2024Carlos shutdown the emergency gas system and knocked out the hot water heater. He attempted a re-start, however, the heater remained offline and we have no hot water. We left for the weekend as soon as he left so we were unaware the hot water was off until we returned home this morning. We have been unable to reach him by phone. Please send an experienced technician to restore our hot water heater ASAP. Thank you

Riverside, CA, November 2024David made multiple excuses as to why he couldn't make it to my home at time provided . Multiple phone calls between he and I and my husband an and David. He made multiple excuse to my husband and then i made contact with him and he also had multiple excused as to why he wasn't to t going to make it for the appt. I took the am off work to be home and rearranged my schedule to accommodate this appointment. When I finally spoke with David at 12:01 he stated he was not able to give me a time he could be at my home because he had played phone tag with previous customer and had just finished up there. He then stated he had to take a lunch and after lunch had to take his work vehicle in because something was wrong with it. My response was are you kidding me you can not give me a time that you will be here???? I then called customer service and asked for a supervisor And asked for that supervisor to return my call which I never did receive they said he'd be calling within the hour. Shortly, after that, I get a call from David stating miraculously that he does not need to take his vehicle in and that and asked for that supervisor to return my call which I never did receive they said he'd be calling within the hour. Shortly, after that, I get a call from David stating miraculously that he does not need to take his vehicle in and then it's working now"that its not that serious." So he could be to my house in 20 minutes, which I had to leave because I took the morning off of work. And my husband had to come on his lunch hour to allow David in the house to do Service our refrigerator and dishwasher. We had received a part to the refrigerator that needed to be replaced prior to him arriving. He stated he's never seen that part before and he didn't know how to do it so he would be replacing the part for us. Make an appointment for tomorrow to have somebody else come out. Horrible customer service and not reliable. Hope his repair service is better then his customer service

Bound Brook, NJ, November 2024I paid for a full maintenance on my dryer which I was told included an exhaust maintenance. The tech said that it wasn't included and didn't do it. Since I wouldn't sign up for the warranty program he was in a rush to leave. Ever since the maintenance now my dryer isn't drying correctly. I now have to call Sears to send someone back out.
