Refrigerator Work

This review has more to do with just not getting my refrigerator fixed than the tech. The tech had a great attitude but he is the 5th tech from Sears to come out and not fix my refrigerator. He installed the parts but left with it not working. It has been over 2 months now and the refrigerator is still not working.

Jose, was great. Unfortunately, my 5 year old fridge that already had a new compressor put on in 2021, couldn't be fixed. Not Jose's fault, but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the product. I will not buy another Kenmore or it's affiliates products again.

Kenmore refrigerator leak

The refrigerator repair estimate was very high. I declined it. The repair person told me that he will shut out the water. But the next day I still found some water in the floor and now I am hearing a constant "coughing" from my refrigerator freezer that is super annoying. All that started after the repairman left.

Cost was excessive for the job necessary. Fundamental flaw in the design of the refrigerator. Cost for a simple repair was exorbitant.

Without refrig. 17 days. They ordered parts, then said parts not shipped & were already here. Made appointments, never showed up, never made contact. I tried to get help, called at least 30 dif. numbers, all were the same recording. Couldn't get a human if my life depended on it!! How could a big company like Sears treat their customers like this?? THEY DO NOT CARE!!!! Outrageous, disgusting, ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unprofessional and unskilled

This person presented themselves as a repairman, but failed to show any knowledge of the Kenmore refrigerator. He began by stating that it should simply be replaced. This was before he even looked at the unit, diagnosed, or had any understanding of the problem. After an hour he claimed the problem was our inverter, and that part was no longer available. After he left, my wife found the part on the sears parts direct website. We are going to order them and install them ourselves. I doubt we will ever call Sears blue crew to work on any of our appliances ever again. Calling him was a waste of our time and our money. I could not be more upset with the Sears blue crew.

20 hrs later - not cooling.

Tech was very nice gentleman but this is the third visit and the frig is still not fixed. Not to mention a 4th scheduled visit that Sears did not call or show up to. 62 degrees after 20 hrs is not normal. Would NEVER call this company but home warranty required.

Very disappointed when asking to give a quote for the repair of the refrigerator. Did not give the total amount only the cost of the items they would be replacing to fix. Sears home service was not helpful at all. We will never buy again from Sears.
