missed the CO leak which was main issue for the service call

he missed the CO leak which will most likely cause for unit replacement- and had 2 visits and costed me two days at work and now I need to try and re-schedule through home warranty

Terrible Experience

I initially requested my claim for my dryer not heating on 8/19/24. It was assigned to Wayne J. at Sears Repair. He ordered 2 different parts separately and my dryer is still not fixed. On his last visit; he said it was an electrical issue and needed a different part. He left water in my dryer during his last visit. I do not want him or anyone from Sears attempting to fix any appliance in my home ever again.

The firs bad exeperience

Not sure if he knows what he was talking about. He basically says that we need to replace all the important parts for this fridge - some minor parts because they are bad and others important ones (compressor, etc) because they are not going to be compatible with the ones he will replace. Something like - we need to replace your gas line to your car but we need to replace your engine as well to be sure that it's compatible. And some of his supervisors asked him the same questions on the phone when he was there - probably they were confused as well. And this will put me on the bad position with my warranty company because they want me to pay for this "upgrade" Never had any bad experience with Sears before.

Not a good tech

Only collect service call money and wait for the approval/reject. Seating there and do nothing. in and out about 10 mins. kept saying he needed to move to next appt.

Waste of time and money

Came out and told us the problem with our fridge not cooling was because of a faulty wire in the drawer that pulls out. He said it's a common problem in these type of refrigerators. Requested a new wire and motherboard from home warranty company. Only for them to deny the claim. Quick you tube search later I found out the fridge went into demo mode. Held two buttons down for 8 seconds and it works fine. Hope he takes the hundred dollars and invest in some technical classes or at the least learn to use you tube.

Nice but notvtrained

The technician was pleasant but did not do a good job. The technician was having a very loud personal conversation on face time while trying to repair. The technician was unable to access the inside of the dryer without extensive help from somebody on the phone notvthe same person as the personal call which started back up. The technician left and the dryer vent hose was not connected after they confirmed it was. When running the dryer after the technician left several pieces in the internal drum came loose. I do not know the name of these parts but we had to put them in place and pull the dryer back out to attach vent hose. Not a good experience whatsoever.

Terrible service until the last guy

Sears kept skipping appointments saying they were overbooked until finally the last guy onsite and he was good, but still not fixed.

Scheduled repair service not honored

Unable to rate this technician. He was unable to come and perform the repair service for my dryer. He was overbooked. After I waited for this service call from 8 am to after 5 pm it was a complete disregard and inconvenience for the consumer I discontinued my Sears Service warranty because of it. A fee was charged to my credit card each month. I am in the process of buying a new dryer. I will never use this service again. A complete disregard and disrespect for the consumer by overbooking the technician. I waited over 9 hours and the technician was unable to perform the service do to overbooking.
