Horrible Experience!!!!!!
This individual is UNQUALIFIED.... Appointment was 8-12. Arrived at 12:16 PM. Advised AC system was turned off. Showed him thermostat location. Did not know how to operate. Instead of tapping LED SCREEN, attempted to pull entire device off wall before stopped. Instead I turned on system. Escorted to AC/FURNACE location. Spent more than 5 minutes staring at unit. Never pulled out one tool to perform diagnosis. After questioning over and over again, he finally removed front access panels. Proceeded to use his smartphone to take several pictures. Sent text to his Manager. Asked when he would start the diagnosis process, advised need to wait for approval from his Manager. Stepped outside to call. Stayed for more than 10 minutes. During process, received an email from SEARS HOME SERVICES INDICATING THAT SERVICE CALL WAS CANCELLED. When asked why, he became verbally combative. Shortly proceeded to his van and left without servicing unit. I then went to the VIRGINIA DPOR LICENSING WEBSITE. To my amazement, this guy HAI TRAN not currently licensed to do HVAC work. Expired nearly TWO YEARS AGO!!!! Bad service
Bad service, I waited 3 appointments for the microwave to be fixed. The technician came with a bad attitude, he did not bring the necessary tools, he was asking if we had them so he could use them, he damaged my dining room table and left the microwave wrong by unscrewing the screws, I made the report and I did not have any response

Unresolved problem
Issue: intermittent cooling - A/C stops cooling every 4th or 5th day. Interest: Identify why the unit cools upstairs for a few days and then stops cooling. - Tech Checked outside unit; fuse, and power continuity - used his temp gun to argue that the unit was working. This was not why we called him out. We know as of today the unit is cooling. We needed to know why every 4-5 days the unit stopped cooling. - Tech did not check upstairs unit in the attic. Which was where the issue started originally and where parts were recently replaced. - Tech's position is that everything was working. But never addressed the intermittent issue. I expected the tech to check all systems and he did not. He did voltage checks on the outside unit - all voltages were normal. Preceded to explain how small wires can become hot and cause the unit to not cool. My question to him was to show me how you came to this conclusion after getting satisfactory checks outside. Complaint: The tech had no intentions of truly looking at our issue. When he called my wife to move the appointment from 1:00pm to 10:00am today, he attempted to argue that the problem was fixed and we didn't have an issue. This call and perspective was prior to the house call. I can assure you we do not have a reason to go through this repeatedly. Please do not send this individual to our residence ever again. Hands down he's the worse tech I've ever met. His trouble shooting method is rooted in opinions without doing physical checks across each unit of interest.

Oven not working
The problem is not fix called the contractor twice still no answer i cannot use my oven it still doesn't work I am very frustrated because I have an event for tomorrow and I am not able to bake

HVAC Disaster
I'd give you a negative rating if there was one. From the start until the unfinished work this was by far the worst service I've ever had. Five times your tech rescheduled and in below freezing temps. I told your last tech who said they couldn't do the work and had to reschedule to not come back but they showed up anyway. I reported that I canceled your services to First American Home Warranty but your services are so worthless that you still showed up.

Completely unprofessional and incomplete
the technician initally showed up on 10/20 and ordered the air pressure part on 10/20 and it was shipped and received by 10/26, but he was sleeping on it until I called 96 times in the last 3 weeks, the whole Sears Service is a a mess, no one knows what the part is and when it can be fixed. the technician said it has lot of dust and this needs to be cleaned else it will stop again. so need someone to come and fix it. the issue is still open.

Unsatisfactory
Mr. Sedum, seemed to be impatient, he did not wait for payment.He left before my daughter could pay. I requested someone to come to the house around 5:30pm. (To avoid difficulties with payment method. )This technician did not respond and did not give notice of the time he was coming until he was at my front door. Immediately he came in and Dx the problem without really looking at the refrigerator. He said it is my electrical outlet but that is not correct. I climbed up on my counter and reached behind the refrigerator and unplug the refrigerator and plugged it back up in the outlet above the one the refrigerator was plugged up to. I also plugged my tablet up using both outlets and received power. I don't want to accuse anyone but his Dx was not right. Something was wrong with the refrigerator not my socket.

Unreliable
Twice he made appointments to return to install ordered parts and twice he did not show up at all or call, email or text that he would have to reschedule. He held us hostage in our home for two whole days! Then today, he just appeared with no pre announcement, leaving us scrambling to prepare for his repairs.

Water softener service
No diagnostic was performed. I had to actually put the salt into the water softener myself.
