Not a Happy Customer
Technician was fine, but Sears services are not good. There was no one to speak to regarding not received services. All you have is a Bot computer. Even after paying for services, no repairs were made.

Refridgerator Repair
The service for our fridge started on December 27, 2023. As of this date February 2, 2024 our fridge is still not repaired. Since there were 3 repair techs involved it is unfair to place the blame on only 1 tech. All three techs submitted their own version of what is wrong with the fridge. We pay our bills on time but do not have a fridge to use. An honest negative review will be placed on the Choice Home Warranty website for others to read, there are too many other companies to choose from when it comes to Home Appliance Repairs. We will shop around before another. Payment is made to Choice Home Warranty.

Wort warranty Service by Sears
I am long term customer for sears , been using KENMORE brand for last 20 yes, but this time we have nothing but problems. We purchased extended warranty for both washer and dryer and its of NO use, they still want us to pay 1000 to fix the issue we have with washer gasket.

Bad Diagnosis
Not sure why and how the determination of a bad compressor was diagnosed. The information communicated to Choice was not covered. Apparently it was not considered a " Wear and Tear" item, but yet the compressor was not tested only communicated that it had been replaced. I believe as a technician myself, not troubleshooting the system in its entirely limits the customers chances for an approval for coverage.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Made initial call to repair my air conditioner that was not working. I have two outside units that were not working but Sears Warranty and technician they could only service one. Technician was very uninformative when questioned based on his expertise, which would be the best unit to service that day, the upstairs or downstairs. Technician serviced upstairs unit and got air conditioner unit operable. I subsequently contracted with another air conditioning repair company who repaired the other unit and informed me that the upstairs unit had a faulty filter drive and liquid line that were rusted and possibly leaking. I inspected the part and observed they were severely rusted. He replaced the downstairs unit filter drive and liquid line which had burst and caused all freon to leak out. I telephoned Sears Warranty who sent the same technician to look at the upstairs unit issue. The technician refused to replace the unit as he stated it had not yet burst. I informed him that it would be more practical and cost effective for all parties involved to replace the part now, as waiting for the part to burst would result in all freon leaking out. This would be at a greater expense to replace freon and the parts, than it would be to replace the part at this time. The Sears technician acknowledged that the part WOULD burst in the near future resulting in freon leakage, but still insisted I wait till it occurred before contacting Sears Warranty again. The company I hired to repair the downstairs unit provided excellent customer service by repairing all issues. Sears on the other hand provided horrible customer service and would rather inconvienence their customer and additionally themselves rather than provide thorough service. This is not cost effective to either party!!

Stovetop not repaired
Completely unprofessional. Called in before the appointment to tell me they can't fix it after waiting and waiting. Why couldn't they tell me this before I took off work? Now I'm still stuck with a non working stovetop.

Missed the mark
Based on electrical damage he thought it was an electrical issue. Based on examination it was the wire from the appliance so should have been corrected and not have to have another person to come out.

Kenmore washer repair
The experience is lousy. You have sent between 4 and 5 technicians and none have been able to repair it. The latest one was yesterday and he told me it was fixed. I put in the clothes this morning and the machine shuts off just like before. The technician did not even use the new part that was sent to me, he said that the new part was not the problem. The first technician said the the washer was old on would probably need to be replaced,
