The initial replacement of the ice maker did not repair the problem. After additional trouble shooting it was determined a control board in the top of the left door controls the ice maker and need to be replaced. The board has been ordered as of 8/9/2023. Mr. Emanuel expressed he would contact us as soon as the part came in. He expressed in approximate one week. I am hopeful the repair will be complete "after" the installation of the new control board has been replaced.

I am very happy with the prompt response and with Lemecio's work. However, I am out of the country and my cousin is house sitting for me. I have a Warranty Plan Number 628739775 I tried in vain to book thru SearsHomeHub and failed. I also have no phone so went to your website. I have been charged nonwarranty price which my cousin graciously paid. I will be back soon and be in a position to call and follow up. Kindly do your best to help me in the situation.

Repair of refrig
I waited since9/19 to have the refrig fixed..i cancelled the 1st appt because alll the ordered parts hadn't arrived.. today's appt was ffor 1-5 pm. The technician arrived at 6:05pm. It took less than 30 min for the repair. I have a frig full of ruined food because of the delay.i should have just bought a new refrig rather than deal with sears.

Took to long to get refrigerator fixed. Called on 10/5 and told they'd come on 10/9. They knew we needed a new ice maker from the 1st service call and the tech didn't have one on his truck. He ordered one to be sent to my home and made another appointment for 10/14. Noone came all day. I set another appointment for 10/16. Received an email that estimated time was 3:40 pm. Then they called at 2 to say they are coming now. I told them I'd be there at 3:30 so they canceled my appointment & set it for 10/17! Received email with estimated time of 11:04. Tech showed up at 10:15 without any call ahead of time. This is really unacceptable business practices!!

Ice bucket replacement
Yesterday, the ice machine was making a lot of ice. We couldn't dispense the ice, because the bucket would not push out the ice to the front of the refrigerator. After he left, we noticed hardly any ice is in the replacement ice bucket. Don't know if something was done to not get it to make ice. The rod is in the down position. If this continues by tomorrow , we will notify Sears to check it out.

My experience with the technician was average. Nothing outstanding to report. I would like to add though, not happy at all with the cancelling of TWO previous appointments……that wasn't cool, I stayed at home waiting both days, I had to cancel my previous engagements so I can wait at home all day to no avail and be told at the last hour that you guys have to reschedule. I would have probably understood one cancellation but two, that's totally NOT acceptable!
