Stove
Got warranty for stove- all he looked at was range hood? I didn't purchase range hood from American freight.again why have A service plan that you don't inspect stove?

I was told this warranty covered cleaning the coils yearly.yet all he did was look and say it was clean- report said couldn't move for damaging floor? They installed it with same floor a year ago with no damage. So why pay for a warranty

Dryer repair service
Michael gave excellent service! However, I was very disappointed to find that parts are no longer available for my dryer which is not that old. Although I'm a long time user of Maytag products, I will rethink this in the future

Air Conditioner Repair
The technician stated that the drain pan had filled with water causing the sensor to cut off the system. He removed the water from the drain pan but apparently did not clear the line. Within 48 hours the pan had filled with water again and cut off the system again as apparently the problem was not resolved. When I called to have them come back by I was told it would be 13 days before they could send someone back out.

Poor communicator
He Asked me to sign for things with out explanation. Could not explain why the part that he picked up at supply house didn't work. Left without fixing the ice maker or giving me a potential solution other than I should call the manufacturer. What am I paying you for? Very disappointed.

No service
We had a service tech come to our home ill prepared to fix our malfunctioning wall mounted oven. He promised to come next day with belp to remove the appliance from the wall. A no show and then they closed the sevice call withoutsolving the problem. Thanksgiving is next week and weare still without a functioning oven. Sears needs to make this right.

Owner
Poor. He refused to help on another appliance with an attitude. He said that the water flowing from under the dishwasher was caused by soap. No repair. After I paid him for no repair on the dishwasher, he had an attitude. I asked him to leave . He kept talking. I shut the door.

Incompetent
The technician allegedly knocked on the door and reported no response. I did receive a phone call from the technician. I told customer service numerous times prior to this appointment that this is a rental property and so I needed reasonable notice regarding technician's arrival time (not just 8am - 5pm). Note: I could not rely on the automated "technician is on the way" messages; for the last Sears service appointment I had, even when I received the "technician is on the way" message and there was an approximately 45-minute estimated arrival window, the technician arrived over 1 hour after the estimated arrival window.

Stove repair
Didn't fix our stove and didn't call us for when it would get the part and changed me 100.00 for nothing…. Wouldn't recommend them at all…. I have been waiting since May and still no oven…..

Sears/A&E Factory service fail
NOTE: this review applies to the overall experience we have had during the repair of our Kenmore Elite fridge. In mid-June we had our fridge stop cooling. Since the compressor was still under warranty we called Sears Home Services for the expected warranty repair. Reuben came and diagnosed the failed compressor (an LG design issue) and we agreed to the estimate for the repair (labor) and he submitted an order for parts, and we got a scheduled date for 7/5 to complete the replacement. This is where the fail begins. The first tech apparently ordered an incorrect/obsolete part, so even though is was ordered, when the date (7/5) came for the replacement repair, the part was not delivered and the repair was automatically rescheduled by their system without any human contact or explanation. Upon my own research I found that the wrong part had been superseded by a new part number, but Sears was not smart enough to identify and fix that before it impacted us. I had to navigate the absolutely worst customer-hostile customer service system to try and get some attention to fix this, but was handed off to automated bots several times that ultimately hung up on me. After multiple tries, I was finally able to get a person on the phone who at least noted that the part was incorrect. That took another week before that was actually rectified in the service order and ordered. However, on the next rescheduled date (7/15) we again had the repair rescheduled automatically without any human contact or explanation since they still had the obsolete part listed as being required before the visit. - unbelievable incompetence. It was rescheduled yet again to 7/22 due to their incompetence - all errors on their part. Yet, even though they were completely responsible for the mistakes and delay, after fighting through the miserable system and finally reaching a manager, they took NO responsibility, made NO apology for our suffering, and took NO action to expedite the return. WORST EVER!!!!
