Dishwasher repair

The technician replaced the parts and the dishwasher was still no working. He said I have to call the office and I will be out in the truck. I waited for almost an hour and finally went outside to see what was going on. He was gone. He never said he was leaving. I checked my email and he sent a receipt at 2:29 PM that parts were installed and the unit tested OK. It is NOT okay. It still does not fill when turned on. I talked to a rep at Sears Home Warranty and she said I have to call back tomorrow. What can be done to resolve this issue.

Matthew was on time and professional unfortunately he wasn't allowed to test the breaker to determine why my dishwasher isn't working so now I have to call an electrician which will require paying someone else on top of what I just paid.

Dishwasher still not working

I wrote a detailed review that expressed my disappointment and that review would not post. SO--- Amel looked at the mouse droppings and said that was the issue. I cleaned and dried that area and the floor and it is still giving me the same error code: an issue with the thermistor. He did not check the thermistor at all--so now I have to find another repair person or do it myself. Waste of time!!!!

yearly check of appliance before my contract expired was scheduled with another service man that was checking all appliances original service man told me he had a rental and did not have a shop vac to do the job so he was forwarding it to another service person, that being Dylan Dylans text updates were stating arriving at 5:28 pm calls me about 2 and says WILL BE HERE IN 15 MINUTES. really these messages are no good if you are not updating them... after service man 1 left i went to work thinking after 5 ....... Dylan was in and out in 15 minutes no shop vac -

The first issue is that the website doesn't give us an opportunity to tell the technician what it is we want. Frequently, I find that the technician doesn't have what they need on the truck and they have to make a return visit. This is frustrating when you have appliances or Equipment that needs to work. The inability to nail down a time for the visit is also particularly frustrating. You have to schedule a whole whole day waiting for them to show up. They may show up at eight in the morning or they may show up at five at night. Our most recent appointment was canceled and they had to reschedule. They didn't call or let us know until the end of the business day. None of this is really the fault of the individual technicians. This is a structural issue with Sears home services.

Did not tell us what was wrong. Just a list of possible problems. I knew that before I called. I was to get a person to trouble shoot the machine and repair it, neither were done. Waited 2 weeks for original appointment then that was canceled 10 pm the night before the appointment. Then told I have to wait another week for a tech to be available. Shows up and does not give answer to what is wrong. Suppose to be a repair tech. Tells me it could be a board or may need to have program updated. No real answer to the problem, What am I paying for, nothing. Waist of time with your repair. Will never use again. This company is a joke.

Matt to the rescue

Notified Sears Home Services of a Dryer issue. They scheduled a Tech the very next day. How awesome! Matt arrived as scheduled. He was very thorough and was able to diagnose the problem in a reasonable amount time. He explained to us exactly was the issue was and how he was going to rectify it. We found Matt very knowledgeable and a great example of how customer service should be done. Well done Matt.
