James had to travel 2.5 hours to get to us. Unfortunately, the A/C was operating properly while he was here, so there was nothing obvious for him to repair. The grinding in the outside unit only occurs occassionally and goes away after I leave the unit off for a day or so. It appears that the next time it acts up, I should just let it break down completely so the problem will be visible. I suspect some of the bearing for the fan are bad, so the problem will occur again. I'm just sad that James had to travel so far not to be able to fix anything, given that everythng seemed to be working fine right now.

Not happy
The technician was very nice and polite. They were here for 3 hours working on our new 14 month old refrigerator and it's still not fixed. We've been without a fridge for a week now. We are not happy

Sears Repair Frank
The service repairman, Frank, has visited my home several times. Each time he is prompt, courteous and extremely professional. But, most importantly he is knowledgeable and competent. He has performed several different services on my Craftsman tractor and has always been able to properly diagnose and fix whatever problem has occurred. If I ever have service issues again I will ask for Frank to help out.
