Washer
It's still leaking The service tech just left and said the washer is good to go. I tried to use it and it started leaking again.

Pass on sears home services
This review is more on the services provided than in the tech. My hot water heater has been out of commission for several days. After determining that the water heater needed to be replaced the tech told me I would receive a call the following morning to discuss the details. After not receiving a call the next day I called the service number. After going through a number of people I was finally connected to the water heater department, who after reviewing my service notes, told me it would be 5 business days for before they determined that I was eligible for a new water heater and if I was determined to be eligible (even though my contract explicitly stated that a new one would be provided if they were unable to repair the old one) it might be as long as 2 to 3 weeks before they could establish an appointment to replace it. How do they expect you to go a month without a water heater? Worst experience I've ever had.

THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE
Not only was he disrespectful coming into our home to look at our stove, he scheduled the appointment to come back and service it and never showed up. He came back and told us we had to pay another fee again. (Which is not part of our warranty) DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! This is just the short version of this.

No experience for what he is doing
Juan spent over 20 minutes telling me he had to photo a copy of my check, this is inexcusable, didn't any one show him how to do this?? I also don't want photos of my checks and I let my bank know this was being done and they weren't too happy with it either. With all the scams going on and people looking for any way to get into your accounts this is not acceptable. I sent him on his way because he didn't even know what he was supposed to repair. I signed up with you in good conscious and I really need someone to repair my washer or I need all my money back that I have paid you.

Outrageously overpriced mediocrity
I don't leave 1 star as a reflection on this technician specifically, but more so on my entire experience with Sears Home Services. I booked my appointment online. I submitted the serial number and a picture of the serial number. I submitted a picture of the problem. Apparently that's supposed to help them provide better service. Maybe it would have if both technicians who came out gave any indication that they had looked at any of the information I submitted. Instead they both showed up unfamiliar with the problem. Further, I had to show both of them where to find the serial number on my dishwasher. The first one who came out started arguing that he couldn't service it because there was no serial number, after I specifically told him where to find it. I had to pull the dishwasher out, myself, for him, to show him (and the next guy too) where it was so they could service it. The first guy who came out had to order a part and told me I had to pre-pay for the work. I paid more than $300 for the labor alone. The tech who actually came out and fixed it spent 30 seconds replacing the part, so I effectively paid over $36,000/hr. for his service. That's not a typo. The cost is ridiculous. The service is poor. I will never use Sears again. Next time I'll just order the part and look it up on YouTube and probably get it repaired sooner and cheaper. Both technicians who came out where very nice people, and I blame the company more than the employees. I paid way too much for way too little. I cannot more avidly recommend against using Sears Home Services for appliance repairs.

Repair failure
Miguel never acknowledged that he understood what he was there to do- repair the ice maker. Because the water line to the ice maker was disconnected he repeatedly said it was a "plumbing problem ". I said I'd reconnect the line so he could do the repair and he went to his truck. The connection was fast and when I was done I went out to the driveway to tell him. He rolled up his window in my face and drove away.
