Technician was very rude throughout the entire interaction. I am older and am not very good with technology. When making payment on the phone I was having some difficulty, he didn't even offer to help and as rude and rushed and he was I didn't feel comfortable asking him for help. He looked stressed and upset and made me feel very uncomfortable while he was there. He did not offer any information in regards to the repair, just said that if the issue happened again within 30 days to call and I wouldn't have to pay again for him to come out to look at it again. I'm hoping I don't need to call but if I do I do not want him back in my home.

Refrigerator Freezer Repair

Jorge came out and repaired our refrigerator and freezer and icemaker and he did a very thorough job installing the new ordered parts, however, the repair did not work and my refrigerator is still broken.

Jorge was great! this review is not about him. We have been without a fridge for 4 weeks. The first tech that came out told us we need a new condenser, compressor and dryer assembly. My home warranty agreed to cover everything except the compressor since that was still under LG manufacturer warranty. I called LG and they said to have Sears call them to order the part. I text the tech from Sears and was told that they were sticking me into a loop and they couldn't order the part, at that time I got a number to the main office and explained the situation. I was told "no problem, we can order the compressor as well" I gave the guy all the information and repeated everything multiple times to confirm that they would also be ordering the compressor from LG. This was on 8/8, they were scheduled to come back on 8/23. They text me the day before to tell me that they are unable to come because they are still waiting on parts and they would be in touch when they get them. I randomly get a text on 8/28 that our tech was unable to arrive at our home (I was unaware they were supposed to be there) then I get a text saying your tech will be there on 8/31, well we were going away for the weekend so they allowed me to reschedule it for 8/29. the tech called that morning and told me he didn't have the parts but he could be at our house later that day when he finds out where our parts are. Never called me back and never showed up. Then they send a guy on 9/3 that had absolutely no idea what was happening and was never given the parts because they shipped to the other tech. Really?!?

Terrible!

He was not pleasant or friendly from the start of the first visit. He initially said there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator but finally acknowledged it needed a new door gasket. When he came out to install it, it seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He cut a big piece out of the gasket and then determined he could not remove it. After consultation on his phone, he concluded the door needed to be replaced but the part was not available. This makes the refrigerator unrepairable so I expect someone will be calling about the mangy allowance you changed to after having a protection agreement for many years. I asked him to replace the piece he cut out but he refused.

Upon arrival, your technician asked my son to turn on the AC unit so he pulled out his phone and he turned it on remotely from his phone and your technician told him why is that not hanging on the wall and my son told him it's wireless so he asked where is the wall unit, so my son showed him and he went over took the thermostat off the wall and cut the wires and said I will be back on Wednesday to fix it Wednesday. Your technician replaced the blower motor on the outside unit and the thermostat on the wall could not get the thermostat to , turn the unit on then said the unit he brought was defective. I told him I have another one in my truck went out got it. He put it on the wall crooked and that one is working. I told him yes but it's crooked, but don't worry about it I'll fix it myself And that's where it stands so yes, I am very dissatisfied

Saul set up this visit - I did NOT. But I agreed to see him anyway. He came to my home did not bring any tools - refused to bring in the parts. Said he wanted to LOOK at the ice maker - never opened it - came from the kitchen saying he could not make the replacement. He was rude unprepared and totally unprofessional. I never want him in my home again. He wasted my time again after blowing off seven previous scheduled visits and not showing up at all. He never intended to make the repair today. He is a total fraud.

Good technician Terrible company.

I have no issue with the technician, he did the job right, but I'll never use sears for any repairs. It took them over 2 months to fix a simple fridge problem. They just would not show up on day of appointment and when I call them they say we don't have the part. If you don't have the part then you should've let me know ahead of time. They did this 4 times. Never again that I use this terrible company.
