Herman was good at his technical work, however, lacked in handling procedure. He unnecessarily called our home warranty and his employer separately to confirm our fridge was covered under the agreement and insurance. While I understand his diligence..this was not a good use of time. He then was unable to determine if all the parts required were delivered and almost left our home with no work done. Once he got to the actual repair he was really skilled and efficient.

Took 10 days to get a technician to come out. Had to throw some food away. Saul pronounced our refrigerator frozen up and told us how to fix it. He also cleaned the coil. Wish he had pulled the refrigerator out; he would have found the connector to the icemaker line was leaking, which I had to call a plumber to fix. I waited to share the feedback because I thought the refrigerator thermostat may need calibration but it finally seems to have stabilized and appears okay.

Andreas was very polite & performed services he was trained for, however one issue reported was not corrected. Softener cycle is still not draining softener from tray leaving full mix water & softener at completion of wash. Andras checked tray hoses & found no blockage, although issue not corrected.

Omar charged the unit. I was surprised that I had to pay so much even though I had an appliance warranty. That was no fault of your company. Water was flowing on the floor, so I knew it was plugged. I want to Omar to open up the ductwork he kept on insisting that it would be fine after the unit was running I kept on insisting that something was wrong or the water would flow, regardless due to gravity. Omar finally identified the problem and released the sentiments in the tube and now it is flowing properly.

Cleaning and Maintain service

My oven was serviced while my wife was home. The appliance was fixed and works as it should. I payed additionally for the " clean and maintain service " and after inspecting my oven once I returned home, it was apparent that the "clean and maintain service" was not conducted. It was evident that the door gasket, area around the burners and the clean / wipe down of the exterior appliance was never conducted. Additionally, the oven was not placed back into the original location where the child safety locks where, which insures the oven does not tip over. This is my first experience with Sears Home Services and I will not be using them in the future. I called and spoke to Sears the following morning where I was advised they will send someone out to correct the issue but I will be held responsible for any additional costs. Being that I paid for the service that was not completed, I suggested otherwise and the employee moved passed his statement and set a date and time which required I stay readily available from 8a to 5p. I am very disappointed as a customer pays a premium hourly wage and premium cost for parts through Sears to service home appliances and the customer should expect a service reflecting the price.

Maybe not his fault, but when he was on the way, late afternoon, asked what the issue I was having. I was getting a new AC installed and he said he doesn't do that. Said he would contact other tech and call me back…believe or not he didn't call back - no surprise
