Warranty
Really tried hard to sell us a new furnace. Told us that warranty customers are basically last priority and that if someone else calls they will drop us for them because cash is king. Made appointments as reminders to himself but didn't tell us that so we took days off of work, losing income and waiting around all day. Went on vacation and instead of assigning our case to someone new, we had to wait for him to come back. We couldn't use our air conditioner until the part was installed and have 2 senior dogs and 2 small children. Temperatures were in the 90s

Ice maker replaced
Ethan was great, however you need to have a person to speak with. The part order arrived7/6 I rescheduled the appointment for service on 7/9, which was confirmed, that day went by no show and no contact, I tried repeatedly to let someone know the part arrived but kept getting the same message, " part has not shipped ", I finally scheduled a new service call and Ethan installed and hopefully it works, I do not want to hear the recording again.

Dishwasher repair
First and foremost I think it's absurd to schedule the appointment for sometime between eight in the morning and 5 PM. I don't know about most people, but I definitely do not have the time to sit around all day waiting for the technician to arrive. Secondly, I got a text, around 1130 saying the technician was on their way. The technician did not show up until about 340. Lastly, the technician did not put the dishwasher back together correctly. The back piece that allows the water to travel to the upper racks was disconnected and the washer did not run properly.

Waited 2 months for repair
We waited 2 months due to tech quitting. Finally Daniel and a trainee show up and say we dont need a compressor and said they fixed the ice maker. But still NO ice. Very disappointed with sears home services. Dan said to call him if we have any problems with it however they left no contact information and sears automated system is terrible.

AC REPAIR
very poor customer service. asked him to fix teh problem and instead was trying to upsell me on other services, and in most cases, unneeded and not fiscally prudent for the customer. Looked out for himself and the company and openly admitted it to me. I asked for another opinion from the warranty company and was please with the resulting action of going w someone else. Maybe he had a bad day or too many clients, at the end of the day, I felt like my service needs were not met and left with the feeling that I cannot trust in this company.

No show techs and poor service.
Technician ordered parts two months ago no showed without even a call 3 times. I missed work and had to use vacation time to sit around for no one to show up. Finally after waiting since May my dishwasher is hopefully repaired and working 08/28/2024. Three months to get something repaired is unacceptable.

Refrigerator Not fixed
Terrible. Spent 500 on labor to install part. Didn't fix it. Came back and said 1100 for the other parts. No guarantee it will fix it. So spent 500 and have a refit that doesn't work and front of refrigerator got scratched!! My guess the young tech doesn't know what he's doing. My guess this will be a small claims in the court system if they don't put back the money in the bank they said they will do.

Woof….
This issue with our dishwasher has been going on for almost 3 months and has left us without this appliance for just about the same amount of time. I didn't write a review the first time around because mistakes happen and people and companies have bad days. After a second round of mistakes and poor customer service it's definitely a miss on troubleshooting skills, poor processes, bad communication and no escalation opportunities. We originally were told our control panel was broken and had a new part ordered. That part wasn't the right part which pushed us out another few weeks. We get the correct control panel replaced and the dishwasher almost immediately starts giving us another user error. By the time we get the technician back out he tells us that the dishwasher filter is clogged. Which makes so little sense since we haven't used to dishwasher given the control panel issues. Shortly after we get another error message and can't run the dishwasher. The technician comes back and tells us that's there's actually a "giant" hole in the dishwasher hose. He orders us a new hose. And that hose is of course the incorrect part. The technician tells us that "Samsung doesn't make it easy to order replacement parts." Then proceeds to sign my name for me on the work order. This information is all covered under warranty but it's basic knowledge to not forge anyone's signature. Basically, the lack of any sense of urgency from the technician, the non existent help from the warranty company or customer service has been a giant pain. Sears made about 3 big mistakes and just told us they'd be back in a week or so each and every time. I cannot understand how there is no expediting parts when technicians clearly don't understand how to place the correct order. The entire experience was a 0/10.
