washing machine yearly maintenance
Khanh was polite - but he provided no information on the machine, what he did, status or anything. He asked me to sign on his phone and told me that I was giving him permission to work on our machine. I asked to see what I was signing for and the information he showed me had NOTHING to do with giving permission. He spent most of the time sitting at the machine looking at his cell phone.

Nice person, but overbooked and rushed
After replacing the master control board, he preheated the oven. At end of preheat cycle the control read 350, but my oven thermometer read 325 and his gauge was also reading low. Tried again at 375 but only got to 340. He packed up and said it would get hotter with more time. (That is not how ovens work is it?) After a bit and with the oven still under temperature, Johnny was still out front in his truck. My husband went out and asked that he come back in and make sure it was heating as it should. Johnny was worried about his many other calls, said he didn't have time, and we should just call to make another (third) appointment. Maybe the techs are overbooked, but what a waste of my time when 10 more minutes would possibly have assured us both that the oven is heating correctly. Is it repaired fully? I am not sure. He had me sign a blank screen and said it was to say I was sending him on his way. But I am afraid I signed saying I accepted his repair as complete. Not true and I am frustrated.

Watch out!
Technician diagnosed a problem that previous repair reps had missed. It was a pin-hole leak in the drain hose which had ruined the wallpaper behind the washer. That was great. Then, instead of getting a new hose to keep the problem from ever happening he ask for some electrical tape to wrap around the hose and a rag to wipe it off. Sears has never done that before. Now, while the problem has been "fixed" we are stuck with a damaged wall and a repaired, leaky hose which will prpbably fix the problem at least for the short term. Then I signed his device to show that he had arrived and then to approve the repair. That was cool. But then I got an email with the a compicated disclaimer on it that I had supposedly read before signing (sure didn't see it). This wasn't his first visit...last Wednesday I had signed up for a repair call stating that I wouldn't be home from a medical appointment until 12:00. I then talked to 3 more Sears reps in the next 4 days to be sure that he would know that I wouldn''t be there until after 12:00. He never got the message and showed up at 10:59 when I wasn't home . I never got the call from Sears telling me that he was on the way so that I could have delayed his arrival and had him not waste a drive to our house to find us not home. You guys are out of control and certainly not the Sears that we have known and loved all of our lives.

Nothing Wrong?
They may have not been a growling noise at the time he was here. But there is every time we use it it is not the washer blades hitting the dishes. I do believe somethings wrong with the dishwasher and wish it would've acted up and propose that he come back With a load full of dishes and listen to the wash if that's what he thinks

Dan
All dan did was put a cup of water in turn on nothing happened. That night i was getting sparks again . I am afraid to use it and was disappointed that that was the only thing could be done. I am not sure what else can be done to check. I will check about me getting one on my own. Cause I do not feel safe using it.

Service was good, but professionalism could use some work
While the service was fine, there was a lack of professionalism. He showed up to our home over two hours early, with no notice. He didn't wear any boot coverings either. We don't wear shoes in our home. He demanded his phone be added to our wifi. During the repair, he spilled water all over my floor and yelled that he needed towels. He left said towels on the floor along with a significant amount of water puddles, that he tracked through my kitchen. Some attention to detail would be very much appreciated.

Rolla S
When I called originally, I said my ice maker was out. Rolls came out, took a look and said"your ice maker is out." Then he said he'd have to order one and set a second appointment 2 weeks out. Today (the 2nd all day appointment) was supposed to be 8-5. I was given 4 "ETA's" from 3 to 4:05. The tech arrived at 6:45, an hour and 45 minutes later than the appointment window. I gave up 2 days (stuck at home) without even a "sorry!"
