Arlington Hts, IL, July 2024I understand part of his job is to inform customers of upcoming changes in maintenance agreements and what may become available in the future, but it seemed Oscar was more interested in selling me a new maintenance agreement now, even though out agreement doesn't expire until November. Almost like there is a monetary incentive for repairmen to sell new maintenance agreements. Not sure that's what their job should be, and company management should let repairmen concentrate on needed repairs and not become salesmen too.

Oakland Gdns, NY, July 2024The gentlemen arrive tried to charge a different price…….then asked for 800+ dollars for an ignition device/ labor for the oven. The oven was working and now its not…..The language was also a barrier and he was a bit aggressive did not like me questioning him…..

Alexandria, VA, July 2024The repairman was scheduled between 12:00 and 4:00 but didn't arrive until 6:00. I was not notified that the individual was running late. While the repairman was working on the dryer, the individual inadvertently cracked the faceplate on the washing machine. The individual tried to obtain a replacement but informed me that the washer was old and parts were unavailable. The faceplate was not cracked prior to the service on the dryer. I was in the kitchen when I heard a loud noise but did not go to investigate. The repairman asked me to come back and when I did, he asked if the faceplate was cracked prior to his arrival to the appointment. It was not cracked prior to the work on the dryer. If I had broken the faceplate, I would have called Sears to come and replace it.

San Ramon, CA, July 2024I dont know if this is because Sears has changed the way they pay their staff and subcontractors but this is the first year we have had a maintenance visit and the technician did not clean the washer gasket or explain to us how to take care of it. He did the bare minimum. Not happy. Also the first technician never showed up on the originally scheduled day. Mohammed was a replacement after waiting all day and finally being told at 8 pm that no one was coming. Things are going downhill at Sears.

MA, September 2024Not overly friendly, left a mess, offered to provide a service on my appliance that was outside is Sears, and had difficulty knowing how to make the necessary repair. Spent along time on the phone consulting with someone about the potential causes to the problem. Would have done better working with a local repair person

Arlington, TX, September 2024Determined washing machine was broken and given estimate. Dishwasher determined, broken and not repairable. Refrigerator not cleaned or vacuumed. Nothing done with it.

Sterling Hts, MI, August 2024The scheduled time was 7:00am to 11:00am technician came at 12:50! We waited all morning ! no apologies! I feel like this happens every time I set a scheduled time slot it's hours past!
