Washer repair / annual maintenance of five appliances
Rocky was pleasant and seemed competent with his diagnostic washer repair service. But he was quite cursory in his maintenance service of the other appliances during this annual contracted appointment. For example, I had hoped he wound pull the refrigerator and range out for thorough cleaning as is usually done but he said it was unnecessary. Overall, he is an efficient and effective professional

Refrigerator not cooling enough
I was told that if I defrosted my freezer, the temperature in my refrigerator would correct. After defrosting, the temp in my frig is only at 60 degrees. Trying to get ahold of Sears to have them come back out to actually repair the problem is almost impossible. Next available appt is in 2 weeks. Very disappointed

Horrible service
I have had coverage on my frig and the coverage was over $700 for an additional 5 yrs. This is the 4th time a tech has come to my house only to deny the claim that the freezer is NOT right. The ice dispenser has made the ice lump up and the freezer door is not level. they suggest that when I open the freezer that the moisture makes the ice solid. I question the fact the since the door is not level that that is the cause of the ice becoming solid. I am never going to buy another product from Sears and also tell my friends about my experience with your warranty. The last tech was told that if he said that he would be fired if he said I need a replacement.

Fake appointments
Too many texts for service not scheduled. Then I get a survey on the visit. Fishy and annoying every few weeks

Magic Chef Washing Machine
The very low rating was not due to the Technician at all, it was due to a very significant issue that Sears does not NOT allow a person to call and talk to anyone at Sears about changing the time of day of service! Neither do they allow it using their website although from the wording it gives the false impression that a person can. In addition although I received many service notice emails, I could not change the time of day using them. I did receive a call saying a service person was coming but there was no ETA! The service man was professional and did as much as he could---that is just test and verify the machine's faulty operation. The issue was dealing with the programming and he couldn't change it, only the manufacturer could. So there was nothing he could fix or repair. The faulty operation is a manufacturer's issue.
