GE refrigerator repair
It took 5 scheduled appointments to get this repair done, totally unprofessional. 2 appointments in a row rescheduled to Sears date and time, with no contact with customer. You had no idea what the customer had going on those days work, surgery, funeral, etc. For that I would not recommend you to anybody. I probably will not even hear about this, you just keep the good ratings if you get any.

Unable to properly rate at this time
At least this technician shows up and has attempted twice to fix the problem. Our LG Refrigerator remains non-functioning since on 07/05/2023 Sears Home Services Master Protection Plan technician canceled the appointment, the compressor has been changed out and two subsequent appointments have occurred. Currently, instead of not completely cooling or making ice, temperatures are fluctuating, with still no ice being made, a kinked water line has been noted, as well as a noticeable scratch mark and now a continuous noise. Today CHAT gave instructions to unplug, clean gaskets with warm water, vacuum dust etc, reset the recommended temps then replug. CHAT has confidence that within 24-48 hours, the issue will be resolved. Confidence is good.

Repair not completed
To be fair, the original tech came out, diagnosed the problem, and ordered a part. He told me that the part would stop the water from leaking from the refrigerator and eliminate the loud noise. The part came in and the new tech installed it. The noise is gone. He also told me that the part should eliminate the water leaking, and it did not. I am trying to get someone to come and figure out why it is still leaking.

Fixed Dryer
Stone face. No smile. Arrogance in tone of his voice. As a courtesy, he should have cleaned the inside of the dryer sine we've been waiting for the replacement parts arrived (20 days without use of our dryer). Had no name tag. Turns out that the Heating Coil was the last part, #6 was all it needed to fix the problem and he placed the other 5 parts inside his bag. He didn't ask my wife to try the dryer before he left. I had to ask him to wait 5 minutes so my wife could put one damp piece of clothing inside the dryer, so reluctantly we waited for about 1 minute so she can be satisfied that the dryer is working properly. When the first technician came over the first time should have been able to diagnose what was wrong with the dryer which turned out to be the HEATING COIL. That was the last part that arrived. I'm not satisfied with the handling of our major concern. 😕😕 (⭐️⭐️ OVERALL RATING FROM BEGINNING TO THE END)

No support
Tech showed up showed my wife what buttons too hit on the dryer did not install any of the parts that was ordered. Complete waste of time for this service since the tech was the one who ordered the parts that he said was needed so now we have spare parts to hold on to that might not ever get used.

Lacking Personable Interaction/Customer Service Skills
Mark was not very engaging and made me feel as if I interrupted his personal time by having him complete the work I assume you are saying him to do. If you had not been selected by my warranty company I definitely would have not picked your company if he represents the rest of you staff

Evaluating refrigerator/freezer problem
Recently bought warrantee and requested an evaluation of my refrigerators cooling system. Arrangement made for home service visit to evaluate problem. I was charged for the visit and was informed that I will have to wait 30 days before the warrantee can take effect. In the mean time I could pay for the part or wait 30days for him to return and I would be charged another again before he can order the part needed. Why was I not told that I would be charged a fee twice and wait 30 days for the warrantee to take effect, To make matters worst, I would be charged another service fee and wait 2-3 weeks for the part. I transferred to Sears with the understanding that the service would be better than what I had. Please give this matter your immediate attention as I am disappointed and need my refrig to be served asap. Thank you, Mrs Heyward

Machine is still having the same exact problem.
The technicians were polite, I don't have any complaints about them personally. They were supposed to change out all four shock absorbers, and test to make sure the repair was good. They told me it was done and that the repair was complete and that the machine should function properly. The next morning I tried a load of four pairs of jeans, and the machine was just as noisy and vibrating as before. If they had asked, I would have provided them with a couple of pairs of jeans just to test the repair. So I have to do this again this week. I would not have been as disappointed, if, after properly testing the repair, they had discovered that there was something else wrong. Sometimes you have to fix the obvious problem, before a lesser or more subtle problem can be diagnosed, I understand that. I made sure to tell them that the banging and vibrating was only when there was clothes in the machine, but it was tested w/o any clothes in it. Hopefully we can get a proper idea of what is really wrong with my less than three year old machine...

Refrigerator repair
He fixed the ice maker door into the freezer. However, the ice is not dispensing from the ice bin through the door. He never cleared the frozen ice out of the freezer bin to test it. Once I did, it would not dispense the new ice added. It also has not made any new ice in the last 5 hours. I will need to schedule another repair appointment. It took a month to receive parts and schedule an appt. & now it is still not fixed. At least, it was making ice before today's appt.
