He lies, doesn't know what he is doing, doesn't bring his tools in. Didn't call, he didn't knock, I have ring doorbell, looked like he was getting ready to leave . Not impressed. It's been sence august all most every week waiting at my house for the appointment you set up. Didn't need the part he charged me for. Dave came found the problem ordered the part. And you sent Austin back after I said I didn't want him. Not impressed with the lengthy process, or the price, or the craftsmanship. Still have not got my refund for the parts I didn't need.

3rd time he's been here. Doesn't bring his tools in. Diagnosed it wrong the first time I spent a lot of money and it still didn't work. Put in a part I didn't need. Dave came diagnosed the problem, new part came and Austin came installed it left the cover not on right asked him about it he said that's the way fit. It's not I looked at it before he started. Still not sure if going to work told to wait 24 hours.

Friendly tech but no deal

Professional and friendly tech came to our house and after 10 minutes and said parts cannot be found. Freezer is a little over 2 years old and I am having a hard time accepting the $130+ charge for saying no parts available. Sears is still going down hill. On another note, the customer service rep was difficult to understand and it was a frustrating experience when scheduling my waste of money appointment. I would of gave my model number first to them to see if parts can be obtained, but I didn't expect a no parts problem. We have found parts online and will call someone else.

6 weeks and 8 appointments later

This review is not directly toward Melissa, just my overall experience. It took 6 weeks and 8 appointments to get my fridge fixed. 1 appointment slot I was never assigned a tech so no one came and I had to be rescheduled. Another appointment it was put in as an initial visit and so she couldn't do anything and had to be rescheduled. I had two initial diagnostic appointments cause the first claim was closed. Every appointment is a 4 hour window. So I had to clear my schedule 8 separate times for 4 hours each. This was excessive. After the 3rd appointment something needed to be done by Sear's to remedy the situation. I was also in the process of moving and because it took so long to get the fridge fixed I wasn't able to even take the fridge with me in the move because I already had postponed the movers once for the fridge. The fridge is now working but the amount of appointments it took was ridiculous. Melissa was always polite and helpful. So this is not against her.

Still not working

The technician came to install a new motor and now not only does the ice not work, but neither does the water. He probably should have checked it before he left. Now I have to schedule another appointment and it's almost impossible to speak to a live agent which is so frustrating.

Not happy. Service tech told my husband it was an original compressor. NOT TRUE. Your company replaced the compressor 5 years ago! Now you want us to fork out $1000+ for a new compressor. No thank you.

The technician did nothing on his visit. He closed a work order that was fulfilled by others. He took papers from my home that were processed by other technicians and probably used them to order a part. The part was ordered after the work order was covered by a team of GE refrigerator experts. This tech was the first one you sent to my house and showed up again 3 months later. I doubt he knows his work. Your sending him to my house just created a lot of confusion and chaos with my children that were home at the time. I certainly have been very disappointed with this entire process and very frustrated with this last tech, Sherman, that came to my house. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

I had to remove the toilet so they could have access to my dryer oposite the toilet. They cancelled. It was the only toilet. So I had no toilet for the whole day. Had to put it back in and take it off again the next day for when they rescheduled. They also threw away parts because they couldn't access the dryer the first time so I had to wait another 3 weeks without a dryer. The worst service.

Never actually looked at the appliance. Talked with someone on phone to diagnose problem, even though he was in the house with the appliance. Quoted me 3 different prices - each one significantly higher than the previous one.
