So Disappointed!!!
Carlos is an experienced and gentlemanly tech, so I was expecting a fast and efficient resolution to the controller issue with my LG washer, after waiting a long time for the appointment. He installed the new part quickly and started a test load. I thanked him and he left. Little did I know that when the test load finished, the controller would be unusable!!!!! Since he closed out my claim, I am only left with the option of opening a new claim and starting over. This is a process problem that Sears management needs to address. I am so disappointed - I really wanted to give Carlos 5-stars.

Could not fix the simplest problem
The dryer cord was bad. Which I figured out after he refused to check much saying he's not an electrician, he said It was a house electrical issue. Which it was not, it just had a bad dryer cord. Waist of my money and time.

Poor Service
My freezer has been worked on numerous times for the same issue and each time that the repair doesn't fix the problem, I have put in an additional repair request since they say you have 180 days where they warranty their work. The technician has came out several times, and the most recent time replaced the seal of the freezer. That ultimately made the issue worse than what it was. Now I am being told that the item is no longer covered. In addition, the technician just felt free to walk right through my front door and into my house while I was not there and it was only my wife and daughter inside the house. He did this twice. Unbelievable professionalism and extremely terrible repair service. On top of all that, the warranty company is not standing by its repairs at all and refusing to continue repairs or to replace the freezer as the technician stated it was no longer repairable. Next step is small claims court and Better Business Bureau.

Maytag washer repair
Problem not fixed. Washer still makes a shrieking noise on the final spin of the wash cycle. Technician tested the washer only on the drain and spin cycle. I never use that cycle, I have no use for a drain and spin cycle, wash cycles only. He checked for everything else where a problem might occur but didn't fix my problem. Very disappointed after having paid my deductible and nothing was fixed.

Washing machine repair
Service Man arrived late. My son took care of it. I had to go to work. He was here ten minutes, told us that he could not repair the machine which was not true. I've already had someone else service it and it's repairable. A took the money from my deaf son. Did not give us a written paper on why he could not fix it. I had already wrote him and told him my son was deaf that I needed a explanation on paper. And he fell to do that. Very disappointed and will not be paying service.

Refrigerator repair
Mark, although very capable, with A&E was unable to repair because refrigerator had already been repaired by Mike's Appliance. This repair has been a nightmare resulting in me canceling my Sears Home Warranty. Mark initially evaluated problem and ordered parts on 9-22-23. An appointment was made for 9-29-33 to repair refrigerator. No one with A&E called or showed up. I called (45 minutes later) and no one was able to accommodate this appointment. Another appointment was made for 10-6-23. (2 weeks later) Again, A&E did not call or show up. I called, again, after going thru several prompts on the automated system, one hour and 20 minutes later, I was able to change the Repairman to Mike's Appliance. Mike's Appliance arrived on time and repaired my refrigerator on 10-13-23. Additional parts were needed, so I am still waiting to have my repair completed. I received another automated notice of an appointment for today. I assumed, it was too install the additional parts needed by Mike's Appliance. Instead, Mark with A&E arrived to make original repair. I contacted Mike's Appliance, again. Mike's Appliance has informed me that they are waiting on the parts and will call when available. This refrigerator is in second home and I must drive 2 hours to make these appointments. To date, I have wasted my time, not to mention the fuel needed to make these trips, 3 times. I would never recommend A&E or Sears Home Warranty. This is the worst service I have ever received. Terrible communication between A&E and Sears. No communication with me, unless it was initiated by me. Very unsatisfied.

Disappointed in Sears Service
8/8/23 diagnosed it was the compressor and motherboard so ordered new/rebuilt ones. 8/23/23 went to the wrong house! Texted a picture of the house they were at and put "knock, knock, no one was home…" and made me reschedule because no one would answer their phone even though the text said to call. 9/7/23 installed parts, didn't wait long enough to see if it would work. Never worked! Had to reschedule again for 9/25/23. No one showed up again…rescheduled appt for 10/4/23. Once again, no show, they rescheduled again for 10/23! My husband, luckily knowing something about fridges, kept questioning things the tech was doing and he did several thing he DIDNT do the first time. Also, the motherboard was bad again so installed a faulty one the first time. This is a vacation home so we were driving 6 hours every time for the 3 appointments they didn't show up/went to wrong house and rescheduled on us! Also sat there from 8 to 5 each time waiting on them because most of the times it was after 5 or close to it before we found out they were rescheduling! So, for almost 3 months we had no working fridge. We called, I don't know how many numbers trying to reach someone to speak with and we're passed on and on and on. Never did we speak to anyone that could help us. We were just told to go online to reschedule! We did not want to reschedule. We had made the trip as we were told the tech would be there! I might mention the very first visit the tech told me I should just buy a new fridge! This fridge is like brand new and is Sears top of the line. It was even still under warranty. He even told me it wouldn't cost me that much to just buy a new one! This was the worst experience I have ever had and I will never buy another Kenmore product in my lifetime! The service was beyond horrible!!
