Doesn't seem to really care.

This technician has come to my house 3 times to repair my refrigerator. When I ask him about why the left door does not close completely, he tells me it's not off by much, it will be fine. I wish I could send you a picture and ask someone who would know. Actually, I just wish I could talk to a person and not an AI.

Willie was the 3rd technician to try and repair a window unit that has not worked since the 1st appointment in June of 2024. I have had 2 control boards and one display board replaced. Willie installed the last control board and the only display board. The unit has failed again. He told me it should be replaced BUT when I called the benefits dept. they told me that the unit was infested. With what? That unit is clean. So now I wait until 8/13/2024 for another tech. to confirm his findings. I am so disappointed with the service or lack of that I have received. I need this unit to be replaced per my contract with Sears # 92563160600080. I have been a loyal Sears customer for 30 years and this is what I get. So sad. I need help in getting this resolved. DO NOT SEND WILLIE R. BACK.

He did nothing to fix machine but complain and scold me about how to run machine. He did nothing to fix why the machine does not despence the fabric conditioner. So the short of this is he was a wasted trip. Could you please send someone here and fix the problem.

Service was no good

He didn't want to finish working on it because he said it was getting late. I told him that the washing machine shakes and still wasn't working properly and he said he didn't have time.

Washer still not spinning

Mark replaced the part, told me my washer was working. I asked if we could try it and he said he did. I asked for his phone number to call him back if it didn't work. He said the other guy diagnosed the problem and he knows what he is doing. I ran a short load after he left. Washer filled but did not rotate to spread the water and then was stuck on wash. I moved the dial to drain and spin. It drained but did not spin. I'm not happy!!!!

Terrible Service with no repair made

This review does not zero in on a particular technician, but our overall experience with A&E/Sears. I have never had a worse experience with any service provider ever. Contractor came out for a broken dishwasher on 8/15/23. Diagnosed the problem, ordered parts. Parts arrived 8/19/23, follow up appt made for 8/31, no one showed up. We rescheduled for 9/7, and lo and behold, when technician arrived, the wrong part had been ordered and delivered. Re-ordered parts and scheduled another appt for 9/18. To defy all common sense, when technician arrived on 9/18, he said the wrong part (!!!!) had been sent. Re-ordered, then as I was tracking the part to make yet another appt, the shipper (Sears) voided the shipment and recalled it. As it later turned out, the wrong part had been sent again.. After multiple escalations with Sears and American Homeshield, with no ordered parts and no appts scheduled, Sears offered to send the technician for the 4th time on October 6th (!!) to look at the dishwasher again and this time order the right parts. I foolishly agreed and took another day of PTO. Here comes the best part: I'm tracking the technician, two stops away, one stop away, then you're next! When I finally tracked and it said the technician is here, I went outside to.. no one! I chatted Sears right away to find out where the technician was and was told that the order had been closed as follows: "Cust Refused Repair and Refused to return parts". Really?? That was the last straw. After wasting multiple PTO days, countless minutes on the phone, escalation upon escalation, I've taken my loss, closed this request as UNRESOLVED, reported to American Homeshield and opened another work order with another contractor. Never,again.

Oven

I was told by your technician (Olman) that a part would be ordered. After he left, I found out this is not the case. He told my Home Warranty Company "Display is faint and due to customer's age, it is hard to see." That is not true at all - my daughter and granddaughter (who are much younger than me) can't read it either. I can't use my oven because I can't see what temperature it is set on.

The absolute worst

9-12-23. Sears has problems . There was a thermometer in the non-working refrigerator. The refrigerator was completely cleaned out and was ready to be serviced by the Sears technician. He showed up. Took a look at it and determined that it was cooling just fine and left without saying anything to the owners. 20 minutes after he left, the inside temperature was 58° by the afternoon it was 75. The Refrigerator is still not working. When I texted him to see if he would come back he said, "Call Sears and set up another appointment. ". I texted him back and told him it took an hour just to get through to talk to anyone at Sears. He texted me back and said, " This is harassment, find a different technician". I texted him back and said, "You are incompetent, no problem".
