Refrigerator is still broken
Technician was very polite however the part shipped and installed did NOT fix the problem. Refrigerator is still broken. Additional services to repair is still required. Spoke with the tech before he left and he confirmed the refrigerator is still broke.

Too expensive. No service provided
The fee to show up is way too expensive. Find another alternative.

Job not completed... Dryer no longer functions
After the technician left, I washed a load of clothes that night. When they were completed, I put them in the dryer. I went to put another load in dryer today only to find the clothes still wet from the night before. I contacted the technician and he told me I was going to have to contact Sears to get him back out. I did so. After 5 calls and an hour of wasted time, I finally got someone to get it scheduled for a technician to come out and fix it on this day. Fast forward two hours... I get a call from Sears telling me they cannot complete the repair today.... They want to reschedule it for 4 days from now. I told them I needed to speak to a supervisor, but amazingly one was not available. They could only send a message to them that they would get back to me within 24 business hours... Meaning the same 4 days for them to get around to even get back to me because it's a holiday weekend. Horrible service from SEARS HOME SERVICES. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Worst experience ever.
Woke up this morning and realized that the refrigerator we purchased from sears some time in 2019 wasn't cooling. I called the 1800 number listed inside the door and was greeted with a very helpful and nice lady that helped set up the appointment for the technician to come out and see what the issue was. She informed me that there would be a 99.00 service charge if we declined the work which was acceptable. 2 hours later I received a text message stating that the technician was on his way. 2 plus hours after receiving the text message the technician called my cell to ask about the issues and I explained the it just stopped cooling and that after some research on the internet that I thought it was the compressor and that if that was the issue it should be covered under the warranty. The Technician asked me if I had the receipt from when we purchased it. Now that question raised a red flag in my mind so I asked why would you ask me if I had a receipt for an appliance we purchased 4 years ago unless you are trying to figure out how not to make it warranty claim. He became defensive and said it's not me it's the company that is requesting this to prove that we were the original owner. I stated that this information should be accessible through Sears and or its affiliates and that in no way that it matters who the original owner is anyway because the warranty follows the product not the original owner. Then I asked if this repair man was working for Sears or was he a contractor working for Sears. He states that he worked for Sears. I don't believe that this is true because he stated that he had to have a receipt in order to be reimbursed. We bought all our appliances from Sears and have had great service in the past. I can honestly say that we never experienced such dishonesty from a company like this before. It's not the money if the appliance wasn't covered we would have paid the bill to get repaired. We will pay someone else before you to repair it or replace it.
