James said that my machine was ok and couldn't explain why it wasn't working yesterday.He did explain that the black stuff that accumulated in the washer was from the outer tank.

Good service
He was nice, changed the motor in a timely manner but did not ask about bringing the dryer in the house to make sure it worked before leaving.

Technician great but....
Service by the technician was great. However, I was constantly told that the appointment was between 7-4 time frame and that I would be called before the day to narrow it down. 9 hours is a long time to wait no knowing when he would arrive. Totally ruined anything that I had to do. It wasn't his fault as he wasn't assigned my service call till 2pm. He did call me and let me know that he should be at my house within an hour. Making people wait for 9 hours is totally unacceptable.

Dishwasher repair
My dishwasher has a leak and each visit makes it leak less but it still leaks. It runs louder now but it cleans dishes. I love my Maytag and have made my own work around so I can use it without the leak ruining my floor.

Technician said there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator because it is cooling. But it will cool for awhile then stop working. Then start working again. There is definitely something wrong with the refrigerator.
