Knowledgeable tech.
Was very polite and took his time to explain what was wrong with dishwasher.

Excellent service - but was an incorrect part installed?
Jon and an assistant were neat, clean and friendly. Everything seems to be working fine with my double built in ovens. My only questions has to do with the installation of one part: " Range Cooling Fan Sensor Board (replaces WB27T11451, WB27X23614)". All the other parts installed were labeled wall oven. I just hope this was a typo and not the wrong part!! I would have given 5 stars except for this concern!

Still not working
Need him to come back. The Range still has problems.

Not resolved
Jon is a very nice guy, however the issue still remains with my dishwasher. The control panel lights up and beeps whenever it wants to with no one touching it. It happens if the door is shut or ajar & is random. He said unless it happens while he's here there is nothing he can do.

I am not sure if my first review was sent. So I will highlight my response. Eric was very professional and came and Timely. While he was here he examined the refrigerator noted how loud it was add then lubricate d it with wd-40 I gave him. He also vacuumed out dust and debris from this 23-year-old Sears refrigerator. This is our first call on the service plan. The refrigerator was so loud I could not hear the television in the Next Room. After his visit that condition still remained. So we will have to buy a new refrigerator and it seems that the service plan that we bought from you will not help defray the cost. How much can the Plan contribute to the purchase of a new refrigerator.?

I blame Sears Home Services.
I don't want to write this, but it needs writing. Joe is clearly experienced and capable, but his long day that started at 8am should've ended at 5pm. He was an overscheduled man pushed past his dignity as a professional. Shortly after 5, he arrived tired and, by his utterances, not wanting to be at my home dealing with my problem. It was incredibly stressful. He imparted no confidence nor wanted to. I had the replacement part -- the control board, the most expensive and delicate part of the appliance -- on hand to speed things along. He didn't wear gloves nor use a grounding strap. He did request a towel to set it on, but then set his metal tools on the same towel so they banged up against each other. I was silently freaking out. What could I do? He said, "I know one thing, I'm never putting in a control board again" *before* he finished. He got the first reassembly incorrect and had to re-do it. He voiced his complaints and was consequently too rough, too impatient, too annoyed. I felt no care in the process, and he was too tired to care. What was I paying a LOT of money for? SERVICE. Or so I thought. Upon final installation, he lost a screw previously accounted for (I put everything on a white plastic lid) and he told me to use duct tape if the lid rattles. (UNACCEPTABLE.) As we tested the panel's functionality, I pointed out that the main assembly wasn't correctly seated and that the panel lights were improperly recessed, making one disappear entirely from view, and he, quite fed up, said "Oh." And that was that. He had his last appt to go to. I was aghast. WHAT DID I JUST PAY FOR? I don't blame Joe so much as I blame Sears Home Services for running a good man ragged and causing the entire point of its business -- SERVICE -- to be lost in the process. If Sears Home Services cares to uphold its service agreement and send someone else to make things right, that's the only way I will ever recommend it in the future.

Disappointing
Not Jon's fault but very unhappy regarding declination of replacement- firemen insisted on removal and now have no oven! Thought your protection plan would protect us - very disappointing!

Awful Awful Awful
This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The communication system with sears was so bad. It took 27 days to get a refrigerator repaired. Parts were shipped to my home and not communicated with the person fixing it. Sears could care less and wouldn't move the appointment up to a sooner time. I expect a phone call from a manager so I can explain how frustrating this experience was. Sears took the full payment up front and made the customer deal with the frustrations. I went to Sears because I thought they'd be reliable but I was dead wrong. I made at least 10 phone calls and not one person could help speed the process up. Customer pays the price for their mistakes. Very very unfair. Person installing changed out the parts and left. Didn't even plug in the refrigerator to see if it was working. I understand it is a lot of money to get things repaired. That also comes with an expectation. That expectation was not met. Not even close. This dissatisfaction is not as much about the installer as it is about SEARS as a company. Very unhappy..
