I think if you could have informed me that if it were a problem with parts for a 20 year old Kenmore that they would not have replacements. We determined that it wasn't a plugged drain when we called, but the fuse was tripped before it could fully drain. Probably a pump problem could have been voiced as a possible part problem. We don't think it's the fuse problem.

AC still not working

The technician did visit for the second time and said it will start working now but the temperature is still not dropping below 79 whereas the thermostat has been set for 65. Not sure what's going on but need the assistance right away

Dryer downer

I knew the issue with my dryer was the timer so I ordered a new one and tried to fix it myself ( I had done this 2 years ago) but I forgot to take a picture of where the wires were connected and wasn't exactly sure where to put them back. Jeff didn't even want to start this and was incredibly negative and grumpy throughout the process. He said at one point "I'm done" but he did finally get it figured out which was much appreciated. A positive attitude or at least cordial communication would have been much appreciated and would have ended in the same result.

Oven repair

Hello, The oven is now heating properly, which is great. Unfortunately, the oven light is now out. Obviously, there is a chance that the light bulb burnt out right after the repair was done. But I think there is also a chance that either repairman that looked at the oven could've done something to cause the oven light to stop working.

Washer and dryer

I wanted him to check underneath to make sure that the bottom wasn't rusty due to our flood that we had. He said he ran the machine and dryer and said everything works fine. Took him 5 minutes and told me he can't leave. Y condo till he gets paid on the spot of 139.00 and you must do it right away. Thought that was rude and I feel he didn't do anything so I should get my money back .

No show no fix

Worst experience ever with a company. Our problem was initially diagnosed on July 16 where a diagnosis was made that needed parts ordered. The technician ordered the parts and stated they would be sent to his home and stated he would be back on July 31, 2024 to complete the job. A text message was received with the appointment details. On that date no one showed up no communication from anyone at sears. I called in and another appointment was scheduled for August 19, 2024 again no show no communication. I called again and was assured that someone would be out to fix it on 8/27/2024. Again no one came and no communication. I tried calling in again and someone closed my job out without ever coming to my house or fixing my dryer. I had to call to reopen my claim and a the original technician finally showed up again on 8/28/24 without any of the parts that he had originally ordered, had no clue what was wrong with my dryer in the first place and left with out replacing any of the parts he had originally ordered. He said that the dryer now works because it was unplugged and plugged back in (it was unplugged to unstack the dryer per his request). The original problem that was reported stated that the dryer will intermittently work but will not dry and gives an error code. I would like to know where the parts are that were order for the problem that did present it self on the very first visit?

Rude und helpful

Did not provide the service as expected. Did not admit that Sears had messed up. Was rude to us. His colleague made an error, the professional thing to do would be apologize on behalf of everyone, then fix it. We are very displeased and remain without a working refrigerator. I would not recommend Sears, Vish or anyone affiliated with our attempted repair.

Worst repair experience I ever had

Such a horrible repair service. The technician, who looked angry all the time, kept coming every week claiming a new part was needed. He initially gave me a low estimate, telling me he only needed to replace one part. Then the cost kept increasing. After over 3 weeks of hassle, he told me he couldn't fix it and that I would get a refund for the cost of the parts only and not the labor cost, which is over 80% of the overall cost, and I am left me with a faulty and now leaking dishwasher. By all means, avoid dealing with Sears Home Repair Service. This is a ripoff service

Refund Never Processed - Still Waiting

So - the entire process of working with Sears Home Services was horrific and messaging before during and after the actual repair service was borderline harassment and overkill. The actual tech was great. It was everything around the "company" process of scheduling, contacting, billing, "not refunding" the overpayment and billing, and then calling into China to try to get it resolved. It was SEARS that was the issue. Ugh. It's a shame, because the "Tech" is usually the issue in most home repair scenarios. This time, it was just the opposite - it was SHS that was the constant and never-ending issue. Still waiting for my ($174.86) REFUND. Hopefully in Dollars and not Yuan.
