Finally repaired
It took numerous calls which get transferred out of the USA & trying to understand the rep on the other end of the line speaking broken English! 5 scheduled visits with the 5th finally happening. A technician came here on July 1 diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts that were needed. The parts were delivered on July 5. I went online & scheduled a visit for repair of freezer pullout shelf & light switch. Every single rep that I spoke to from another country said that they were still waiting on a part & I would tell every single rep that I had the two shelves & pull outs & the light switch but it seemed that the left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing & just kept on rescheduling. It's disgusting what I had to go thru. Out of frustration, I called the Braintree, Mass Sears's location & talked to a very nice lady Rose who got the ball rolling & coordinated it with her mgr for a field visit on Monday, August 5. The tech Timothy R showed up at my house. He was the original tech that diagnosed the original problem on July 1. I also want to thank Skyler who I don't have a last name for, he to was very helpful. I cringe with the thought of having to deal with Sears Home Svc ever again. It's disgusting that there isn't a call center in the United States!
