This was the worst experience we've had with Sears Home Services. Appointments made no one comes or calls. Unable to speak to anyone regarding status of the job. Three weeks of uncompleted work. Technician unable to diagnose and repair furnace. Furnace 37 years old and perhaps unsafe from interior deterioration. Very displeased with service or effort to achieve customer satisfaction.

Sears isWorst company to deal with
Sears is the worst company to deal with for home protection warranty. My fridge broke over a month ago and I'm still waiting on them to replace it. They been telling me 3-5 business days for the last 3 weeks . My microwave wave broke back in May they came out to fix it they ordered parts that never came now they are replacing so I placed the order for replacement from them because it has to be from sears.come and they send me an email saying sorry there's a problem with the vender it's been 2 weeks now and I haven't heard anything. . I'm tired of having to call everyday and be on the phone for hours and transferred from one agent to the next and end up nowhere because there agents are not trained to answer questions they are trained to transfer you to the next person.Dont deal with sears

Still won't run
Stated he changed out a part to increase air flow. Worked briefly before he left. Came home and turned on AC - ran without blowing any air for about 5 minutes then everything just stopped. Inside and out. Nothing. No AC and heat will not run either

Ice Maker
The technician showed up at 8 but called to say he won't be ready for 20 minutes. After 25 minutes he came to the door to look at my fridge. The ice maker has hardly made any ice in 3 days. The ice barely covered the bottom of the bin 3 days. He claims this is normal even through GE on the phone said it's not. He never looked at water lines or even pulled the fridge out to even inspect it. He then said he needs to call GE from the van. He claims GE says give it a few more days to let it make ice. It was clear he had no intentions of inspecting or fixing the issue.

he came very late and diagnosed my problem as the refrigerator was going to stop working in 2 days so we went out and bought new refrigerator it has been 5 days and old one is still working very unhappy and will never use your service again
