Drier heating element replacement

Replacement heating element took too long to arrive - couple weeks. Was not notified, called, when technician on way. After repairs drier functions but has high pitch whine that proves to be very annoying. Robert Warrick

Ice maker repair

The repairman, Ibrahim called when he was en Route to my home. He arrived and covered his shoes. He did not explain his work. He quickly removed the old ice maker and replaced it with the new one. He ran it to be sure it worked. He was at my home for less than 30 minutes.

And all he did was use a screw driver. He had no idea about the issue. Service with A&E has been a nightmare. I had to be available from 8-5 three times. initially sent a tech to diagnose and order the pieces for my broken fridge. They then sent an HVAC tech who had very little knowledge on fridges to install the pieces. He left me with my fridge with the new piece off and told me it was likely broken, (even after I asked if he had screwed the piece on) so then I had to wait until next Monday to the third tech to "fix" the problem in 2 seconds. This tech did not give me a pre-arrival call and laughed about the situation. I've had a broken fridge since July and this situation is everything but funny to me. Two starts because the problem is fixed for now, zero stars for this company.

Dishwasher is not fixed

Michael is the third technician that has worked on my dishwasher. 1st technician stated is was not leaking (I had to put in a claim with my insurance company to replace my kitchen floor due to the leaking). 2nd technician stated that it was a problem with the steam vent and ordered 3 new parts. When I received the parts the 3rd technician came and installed the parts, stated that after only 5 minutes the the dishwasher was not leaking. Immediately after the technician left my home is ran the dishwasher and guess what....IT LEAKS!!!!!!!!! I need my appliance fixed ASAP. I really am not happy at all right now. I do not know why this survey keeps changing my rating. I am rating the Sears Home Services a 1 start....should be a negative star. I know that nothing is going to happen with this survey and my comments. I am sending this survey to my homeowners agent so that he is aware of how I am trying to get the issue fixed before I have another disaster in my home due to the dishwasher. Karen

Case took too long and did not even guaranteed it was a permanent fix he said they tend to "leak" that it's normal how will that be ok? When he is a technician!

Appointment was between 1 to 5 PM. He came at around 11:57 and my dad was home and told him I'll be home in an hour. He said he will come back. I got home at 12:57 and waited till 5 PM. he did not even call or respond to my voicemail, I am very disappointed and frustrated

Needed service on a GE dishwasher which was thought to be the timer control which was replaced and the dishwasher was still inoperative, the serviceman said it was too expensive to repair and we should consider replacing the unit, which wasn't an option given it is no longer manufactured by GE, and at no time did he attempt to diagnose the problem and he left at which point we called GE and they came out and repaired the unit.
