Very very poor scheduling and communication
1. Tech did stated repair. But now has multi colored display instead of original all white. 2. Appt was scheduled for the 18th. Have MULTI texts and emails stating so. I even called on the 17th to verify cuz I had to make arrangements for someone to be home. Called on 18th and asked for tech to call me 2X. No call, no show on the 18th!!!! Then on the 19th at 703am I received a text stating my appt has been confirmed. I didn't reschedule nor did someone call me to reschedule. Sears arbitrarily scheduled it. I had to scramble to have someone home at last minute. This was my first time using the sears home protection plan I purchased. Not a good start! Having doubts about my decision to purchase plan.

Don't fix your water softner
Technician was nice enough to tell us our water softner was not working. He asked if he can disconnect it. I said sure. When trying to do my laundry, the water was not going into the washer machine. When I called back he said sometimes when you disconnect it the resin goes into the pipes and has nothing to do with him disconnecting the unit and that I needed to call a plumber My question is, why didn't he inform me that this could happen?. Otherwise, I would have not disconnected it. Here is the message he left: Yes hi this is service technician calling me back . I was out there this morning for water softener . Got a message and understand that you're having issues with water to the washing machine The reason you're having issues with water in the washing machine There's nothing to do with the water softener being disconnected at all that is because when This thing breaks down the rest and goes through the pipes in the house, and it starts blogging Everything I seen that were plugged pretty much every faucet in the house So you would have to If you're handy , you would have to disconnect the hose for the washing machine and close the lines . If or no water comes out then you will probably need a plumber to figure out where those pipes are plugged up and how to clear it . No, what is suffering right now is in bypass, so no water is going through the water softener, but water should be Going through the house so Otherwise, you would need a plumber to Find out how to Clear they're resting from the pipes That is actually something that normally does happen Plumbing The waterfall from breakdown that way it has absolutely nothing to do with disconnecting the water softener or anything I did out there Have a good day…"

Technician Never Came
The technician never came and it says that they have closed the bill. This is not the first time this has happened. They just close the bill without even being here. This is bad for sears because sears thinks they are here and that the customer was not and they claim a receipt for doing nothing. So I request sears to look into this issue.

Tech assigned does not do the needed repair.
Tech due between 8a-12p. Called at 2:40p to say he does not do duct work. Had to call Sears for a new appointment—hopefully with a tech who does the work.

A total waste of my time RIPOFF Company!
Was supposed to show up last week did not and did not call, text or leave message. Then a few days later a new message as to time and day for service. This time I noticed they did not have the unit number so I sent it two to three different ways. This "technician" apparently does not know how to read or retrieve messages. Did not show up again. Said he did and said he called3-4 times! I did get a call one call from what looked like his number and ascI answered the hang up was immediately done. When I called back the call was blocked. This whole thing appears to be a scam and two big companies in cahoots with each other. I did talk later with this individual who stated for me to call Choice Home Warranty! He certainly was not going to help and neither was his boss he stated! A real quality stand out guy and company! Looking at a possible class action suit. So this is just a warning to other customers that they should be prepared to be transferred to several foreign call centers like I was if there is a problem. Lucky for me I am retired, have money, and the attorneys needed if I do not get Satisfaction! Unlucky for this company.
