Repairman was gracious, went overboard to make sure my washer and dryer issues were taken care of and left no mess — a truck considering the amount of dust he pulled out of the dryer! However, now the timer on the dryer isn't working correctly and it doesn't turn itself off nor does it cycle through the various levels of drying. So, I got to call back.

4 visits and every time, the tech comes, does one thing and leaves, saying " give it 48 hours to make ice" 4 visits, 4 failures. This is ridiculous

repairing the drying cycle for the dishwasher
The Sears Repair person arrived...he installed the new part that Sears mailed to us....the problem with the dishwasher was that the drying cycle did not work....So the repair person, installed the part, and left before the drying cycle....What do you know!!! He didn't fix the problem. He did not stay for the drying cycle....If he had, he would have realized that he did not fix the problem!!!!!!

My appt was 8-12. The technician arrived at 5 pm. Hopefully he fixed the ice maker. I should know tomorrow. Very unprofessional scheduling process and follow-up. Was stuck at home all day!

No stars No smiles
First of all you should never admit to a customer that you've never worked on the appliance you're repairing. This guy came in casual and nonchalant and I had no worries until problem after problem with the repair. Told me the wrong parts are ordered. No let me tell you that my dryer was working when the technician arrived, the problem was just a noise coming from the tensioner. When he left there was no power to the unit and it doesn't work at all and he specifically told me that it did. I was hesitant from start to finish that he just didn't know what he was doing. I was patient for the 3 hours it took him to install one of the parts that came correct. Arrived at 4:00 and didn't leave until after 7:00 p.m. and I was even late for work. The only thing this guy had going for him was his smile and a positive attitude. Don't trust what they say, check things out for yourself before they leave because what a hassle now I have to go through waiting a whole month for my dryer to work. You're supposed to fix things and leave them better than they were when you found them and this is not the case here. Without a dryer, without a prayer

Terrible service
This is about the 7th appointment (at least 3 prior they never showed up and then rescheduled me for WEEKS later). He was 2 hours late and tried to get out of doing the job! He tried to convince me the part ordered isn't what was needed and he could just get me another microwave. I made him fix it and it now works. We have been trying to fix this microwave for FIVE months. Terrible service and way overbooked and apparently short staffed.
