He was on time, worked steady and quickly - had trouble removing the white tub part. I haven't used the machine yet so don't know if it is fixed. He also moved a metal cabinet in the laundry which I never push or move so that it doesn't scratch the floor or break off at the bottom because it is old - he should have asked if it was okay to move. It did not damage anything. Also, I rec'd a box of parts in the mail later today. I want to know if Alfredo put back the old parts and will we have to make another appointment to install these: 5 white ring pieces and one metal spring. What do I do with these if they are not needed for my washer?

Alex worked on machine and was very pleasant but issue is still there. Per his instructions I used wash cycle on machine with hot water 3 times after he left - twice with white vinegar and once with Clorox but still getting black spots on clothes.

I never met her because she was over an hour late and I had to go back to work. Son says her previous appt. needed a lot of extra help so I understand that but she could have called or texted to let me know.

Water softener

Didn't install the new softener exactly where the old one was now a folded table I had stored next to it that he moved won't fit anymore. Asked him about a strap that was on the bottom of the old one that I removed he said he didn't remove it so he was not going to put it back. I removed it trying to see where the leak was. I guess it's policy but I think they should dispose of the old one. He said it was my property and it was trash and he doesn't take trash.

Most of his comments were on negative side. Telling me our smart ecobee thermostat isn't good and whoever wired it did it wrong, but then at end saying that it was wired correct after all. And I as homeowner is one who wired it with help of ecobee support, so didn't feel too good to hear his comments. He did confirm our furnace works, bypassing thermostat signal, so it narrows down issue which may be signal from thermostat, which is helpful.

Company failed

Duane was very professional and completed his job efficiently. BUT, the company failed to show up the day before for an appointment, even after I talked to customer service who said someone would be here before the end of the day. Very difficult to communicate with anyone, I just got online and rescheduled after not hearing anything about the day before. They said they showed up and had a picture of a house that was not mine, I was there all day and no one called or came by. I would give them a ZERO for that.

Terrible service all around.

I have had Sears Home service insurance for several years now. I have used it a few times for basic plumbing. I had an issue with my AC unit and it was a terrible experience. Where do I start.? After the first technician arrived several hours after the a lot of time. He stated I need a new pan for the leakage in the AC furnace. He said he would schedule a return visit with the pan. I scheduled the return visit several times and they did not show. There was not even a courtesy call. . I called customer service multiple times and still did not show. Finally they showed up after approximately three weeks of a non-functioning AC unit. The new technician that came had no idea that a pan was needed. He said he would reschedule. When he rescheduled, he returned and stated they could not find the pan and that they recommended a whole new unit. Bottom line they wanted to sell me a whole unit. I called a friend of mine who works in AC repairs and he fixed the leak resulting from a Clogged drainage pipe. I will be canceling my service. Horrible experience.
