Ice maker
Repair did not work, no ice made since last night . I need water filters

They told me my fridge will be cold in 48 hours
I waited 48 hours there is no cooling in my refrigerator. They told me via phone at Sears home services that my work order is closed nothing they can do about it. American home shield said well call them and let them know it needs to be fixed. Sears said if they fix it they will have to charge me.

LG Dryer repair
Dan seemed very knowledgeable and did a fine job of replacing the roller bearing on the dryer. He did it very quickly. However, during the process of pulling the dryer out to work on it he inadvertently pulled the exhaust hose off the wall mount. He said he would not be able to work on fixing that issue. If it were not for this I would have given him a 5 star rating. Now I, a 75 year old, have to wrestle the washer and dryer to get the hose reattached.

Inaccurate assessment

Did not finish the job properly
He was here for the second or third time and when he left I noticed the panel underneath the dishwasher was not reinstalled properly. It is sticking out on the right hand side (facing the dishwasher). Now her has to come back yet again.

Pedro was fine
Pedro was fine and tried to be courteous. He didn't, however, actually perform a diagnostic because the fridge hadn't been plugged in for 24 hours, which I wasn't told to do. I was charged for the visit and for a "diagnostic" done from a different technician.

Technician struggled
The technician, James, was at my house for 2.5 hours and struggled to install new parts. Now the dishwasher isn't drying the dishes at the end of the cycle.

Good and bad
I will give Nathan 5 stars. Did the best he could. Sears Home Services gets a 1 star minus. Terrible communications. You need to make it easy for a customer to talk with you. It is impossible to talk to a live person. Very bad. If you want to keep your customers happy, talk to them. Something you don't do

Horrible Service
Misdiagnosed problem when he first came out. Had to reschedule appt. Appt rescheduled by him and part never came in as he said it would via mail. Two weeks later he came out and said it was a different problem. Ordered parts to be delivered to the house that day he was here, but he said he couldn't do the work cause it would be a two hour job!!! Had to wait another two weeks to schedule appt. Came out today. Had parts here. He said it would be a couple hours of work. Took way longer-He had to leave to get another part. Came back. Finished the job I told him we were out back if he needed us and to call for us. We came inside and he was gone and left and his truck was gone. I had to text him to find out what was going on. He said he called outside for us but no answer-we were just out the back door. He said he finished the job and for us to wait 24 hours before putting in the food. I asked why he left empty part boxes by the fridge. He said they were old parts that we could dispose of them!!We were without a refrigerator for a month!!!!!!!!! Very dissatisfied with this technician!! Would not use again or Sears Service again!!! Going to cancel our policy with them. Worst company to deal with for appliance service!! Definitely would never recommend them!!!

Well, you're a technician was repairing the power panel used an impact to tighten up screws on plastic and broke it. Hey told me that I would be responsible for the repairs on that would be $400 to replace it.
