Michael is an excellent technician and has serviced our appliances in the past. He kept me informed each step of the way and is always professional and courteous. That said, I am very concerned about the new appointment system that SEARS is using. First, my parts never arrived and are actually unavailable. This appointment therefore was a massive waste of everyone's time. You are unable to contact a real person even when calling the customer service number on the appointment notice. Appointments are always between 8am-5pm and the system does not update to narrow down a time, so you must wait the entire day (sometimes after 5pm). Technicians are only given the appointments as the AI "robot" drops them into their cue, so they do not even have a heads-up to give to customers. Since SEARS can charge a service fee for missed appointments, this is very frustrating. As I said, since the repair parts we're unavailable, this became a waste of everyones time. I truly appreciate Michael keeping me updated as I am still waiting to hear from a Sears representative to determine the next steps under our warranty.

Faramarz was timely + smart. Super nice guy who knew exactly what he was doing. We also used Sears to repair our dryer. I love the text updates that continually upload and refresh the approximate arrival time. My initial appointment was between 8a-12noon. The Sear's tracking system allows me to see how many stops are before me + updates the technician's approximate arrival time. It's fantastic! Will definitely use sears REPAIR services in the future if needed.

Honest, high integrity
Burned pot on my 13 year old induction cooktop and there was a funny smell. Gilbert checked the fuse boxes and patiently explained the safety features of an induction cooktop. I was smelling the pot and not the electrical wires. Integrity unfortunately is often uncommon for a 70+ single female homeowner. I'm grateful for a wonderful experience.

Had problem with digital control panel not working. Tech identified that control panel lockout button had been activated (but no indicator light showed this). Tech reset within the 1st 15 minutes he was here.

Persistant Fixer
McLeod was pleasant and hard working. Although he was not able to fix my cooktop (it was less costly to replace it), he explained everything to me and showed me how to use it in the interim until I get a new one.
