Our technician checked the Temps and gave us several useful tips to keep the back of the shelves from freezing food: keep air flow open. The air filter on the top left of our whirlpool side by side pushes cols air from the freezer into the fridge and anything w liquid close to the air vent will freeze. He said also to empty the ice maker every few weeks and wash it out to avoid bunching of old ice which makes the motor work harder. He showed us where the shut off button for the ice maker is located. He showed us where the temp sensor is in the fridge. It would be so helpful for the store employees to explain this when you purchase the appliance.
