Superlative Service
Jeffrey is knowledgeable, capable, affable, congenial, patient and talented. He is also considerate and intuitive. This is not the first time he has helped us with a very delinquent refrigerator. Each time he has taken great pains to save us time and inconvenience. It is a relief when he walks in the door....

Kenmore Refrigerator Not Cooling
My Kenmore Refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. First my ice maker stopped working. It would fill with water & freeze the water into ice. But it would not dump the ice into the ice container. It would dump the ice if I pressed the test button & then it would fill with water & freeze the water into ice. But it still wouldn't dump the ice. I ordered & received a new ice maker. But when I looked online for instructions on how to install it I found out that if the freezer temperature wasn't down close to zero degrees the ice maker would not work. So I placed a thermometer into the freezer. Even though the freezer was set to zero degrees, the thermometer said the temperature was actually 27 degrees. So I called Sears for repairs. My service technician, Jeffery, was there within 2 days. I explained what the problem was & he verified that the ice maker would not work unless the freezer was down around zero degrees. He tested the compressor & found it to be working properly. He then reclaimed my coolant & found it to be low. He also checked for & found a coolant leak. He repaired the leak & filled the coolant. It seems to be working fine at the moment. It has been about 4 hours since Jeffery left & the freezer temperature has dropped from 27 degrees down to 11 degrees. Will have to monitor & see if the temperature continues to drop &, if so, see if the ice maker starts working again. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the service that Jeffery provided. He was very friendly & completely knowledgeable about my refrigerator, what could be wrong with it & what to do to correct the problem.
