EDIT: the 5 star rating is for the technician, not the company! If I were rating the company only I would have given them 1 star. The technician showed up when he said he would be here and was able to fix the problem in a short amount of time. The overall experience with Sears repair service was extremely poor. The initial request was put in 2 months ago, they rescheduled the appointment 6 times and after multiple attempts to reach a live person on the 800 number, I was repeatedly sent through an automated phone loop. At one point I received a text message saying the technician was in route to my house but no one showed up and they ended up closing the ticket! Throughout this ordeal I was able to reach them through chat but each time I was given the same instructions for calling the number (a way around the automated system) and assured I would get a live person, but kept getting stuck in the automated loop! When they closed the ticket I had to contact the manufacturer again to let them know that no one showed up which started the whole process over again! Once we were finally able to get a technician to come out the problem was fixed, but shameful that it took 2 months for that to happen to repair a microwave that will be out of warranty in another month! Not to mention the amount of time and money that was wasted and being without a microwave! I will also add that I’ve always been a supporter of Samsung products but that won’t be the case anymore because the quality and dependability of their name has gone down hill from excellent to mediocre! We’ve had 2 brand new microwave’s and a brand new 75 inch tv go bad just beyond the one year warranty!
