Carrier heat pump repair
Solomon came to our house to repair our high efficiency Carrier heat pump. We had it serviced previously (by another technician), and when we returned from vacation we found it not working again. The second service was done by Solomon- he found over 7 gallons of water in our pan under our attic unit (no water was noted less than 2 weeks prior), plus error codes and outside unit fan not working. His 2nd visit, he replaced the fan- but error codes persisted and he found the circuit board in the attic needed replaced. He recommended 3 items needed replaced and was scheduled for return on 8/8/23- but Cinch did not approve the replacement parts, so no visit was made on 8/8/23. Cinch had another company scheduled to come on 8/5/23, but they arrived and couldn't assess the heat pump, as they did not do service on high efficiency products. Solomon spoke to me today 8/8/23, to alert me the scheduled service for repairs recommended were declined by Cinch. We are continuing to wait on repairs since our first service on 6/30/23. Solomon spent considerable time assessing our issues and kept us apprised of repairs needed. Obviously, we are frustrated to not be able to be upstairs in our bedroom due to excessive heat during the past 1 1/2 months during the worst of summer weather.

Microwave service
The Technicians were very friendly and had great manners. Also had good advice when finding out the microwave was not able to be repaired.

He did not show up on August 3 even though Sears web link all day said he would. Then Choice Home says the heat pump not covered even though it is.

Poor
Our refrigerator has failed twice and come back on. We've lost 2 refrigerators full of food. The technician said he can't recommend replacing bc it's working now. It was at 68 when we came home from vacation. How many times does a refrigerator have to fail before they will replace ? Why are we paying for a home warranty each month if we now have to pay out of pocket for a new fridge?? I'm done with replacing food and a faulty freezer and ice maker. Super annoying and super frustrating!

Solomon was rude and unprofessional. Not knowing he was the same technician that came to the house last week. As soon as I opened the door he asked me "why did you call back again because Sears is not going to give a new system.". I said you didn't fix the problem and the system is still blowing hot air. I took him in the back to look at it even though he came out from the van with no equipment or bags in his hand. As soon as he got in back he said there's nothing I can't do to fix. He didn't even try. That's the same thing he did when he came to the house when my husband was there last week. I have been paying for my warranty for long time if my system doesn't work Sears supposed to fix. Please I need to get to the bottom of it. I don't understand why Sears hired unprofessional and rude employees. Please reach out to me at 2024865358

Not what I expected but should have
The technician arrived diagnosed the problem as "ice buildup" around the fan. All of which we knew was the problem as it happened before in which the fan had to be replaced. Although he did not run any diagnostic test he claimed the ice build up was from the door being left open for a long period of time. That did it happen as there is an alarm that reminds you the door is open. He directed me to a YouTube video on how to correct the ice build up if it happens again which he said was to unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours. Well the same noise came back 2 days later but not as loud. I did not and will not unplug the device for 24 hours that's just ridiculous and something you shouldn't have to do for the device to operate normally.
