GE washer repair
The repair mechanic Patrick did fine on replacing the parts on my GE washer. But on the other hand Sears is without a doubt the worst repair company I have ever dealt with. I have purchased the extended warranty on several appliances and used different repair companies and none were close to as bad as Sears. My washer has been unusable for 2 months, waiting on parts. The first guy came looked at the machine ordered the parts, no parts arrived for around a months. The parts were reordered, finally parts start trickling in. Sears scheduled an appointment to come install my parts. The first problem was I went to check on the technician repairing my washer and found him watching a YouTube video on how to repair my washer. He then finds that the belt was off the motor of my washer and had been off the entire time and the other technician never found this in his thorough inspection of my washer. The motor and pulley were found to be bad and then ordered. The new parts arrive a week later and 2 more appointments were made for the parts to be installed and no one showed up nor called to cancel. Finally the 3rd appointment Patrick showed up and repaired my washer. Each times I called Sears I never once spoke to someone in the United States. I could not get any good information from them nor any kind of solid deadline on parts delivery. No reprocussion for cancellation of appointments without notice. If I could I would give Sears a negative 5 stars, but for sure they are 0. My GE washer was unusable from May 3 - July 2 2024. Sears is terrible.
