Stove top repair (Whirlpool)
Paul called before he came and said he'd arrive in about 25 minutes which he did. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After he finished installing a new part, he showed me how the burner was cycling properly. He left my kitchen as clean as it was prior to his visit.

Called in the morning. Technician was here before lunch. Knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Labor was quite expensive and 100% markup on part.

Michelle was great! Very friendly. But really????Thor uses you to fix their appliances. We have had two technicians come already. Yet you send someone who doesn't know a thing about Thor. She called her supervisor, and they also didn't know a thing about Thor. They told her, "your guess is as good as mine!" I've been without my oven for 5 months. Very disappointed in Sears and Thor for that matter!!

Washing Maching Stuck
The machine was stuck on the "sensing" phase. The service man got the machine going, which was filled with clothes and liquid detergent, listened to and observed the machine. He then checked the wiring and identified the part that most likely caused the problem. He gave me the cost of parts and labor to replace that part. I concluded that it was better and almost equally expensive to purchase a new machine and he agreed. He was pleasant, personable, and helpful.

Quinton knew what he was doing and I believed what he said. However, he tried to push the warranty purchase on us, which we weren't interested in. Otherwise, very pleased.
