found the real cause of the problem
We had to wait for the part to be delivered after the first SEARS service. This was the follow-up repair service to replace the part in the dryer. In the replacing process, Raymond found that the control board had been placed upside down and the circuit wires exposed to the revolving drum, as there was no protective cover to hold wires up. It was the circuit shortage that caused the breakdown of the part. Luckily, the board was OK as the dryer is working after the replacement. Had he not discovered the shorted wire and put the control board correctly, we would have the same problem pretty soon after this repair. We appreciate his excellent service work.

WAITING FOR 4 PLUS MONTHS FOR A PART I WAS TOLD I NEEDED
I have had my Dryer out for over 4 to 5 months even with a Sears Protect. Every repairman told me I needed to wait for the part to come in---well it was weeks/months before I had my dryer fixed. Broderick S. came his appt was from 8 to 12 he came at 1:00 took it all apart & told me that all the other repair men had ordered the wrong part all it needed was a new belt!!!! So he left to get a new belt & I have to say after recently having a open heart surgery 84 & 3 more operations I really needed a Dryer, I didn't think Broderick S. was coming back because it was 4:14pm BUT he did & he fixed it I hope-he tested it & I have't had a chance to wash clothes & dry as yet I have been doing it all by hand,,,so if it works he really know his stuff! I can't thank him enough & being intelligent enough to not tell me what the other technicians made me order & waiting all that time & it wasn't even needed!!!!! So I really doubted Broderick would come back BUT he said "I told you I would". So hopefull it is all working now, I will know when I use it. All I can say is "Thank you so very much for finding the REAL PROBLEM". I could have used a lot sooner & also would have called a lot less STRESS on all of us!!!!
