1st Contact for Home Warranty on Stackable Washer Dryer

Since I am unsure who is going to see this, whether it's posted on internet or goes to both Sears & the independent technician that came to house, I am in working with my Warranty company to assign a different company or technician. The entire 1st contact was a negative one. If Sears does review this, I would like to speak to a supervisor about the contact from beginning to end. And before a technician even was involved, it started as I had to be available from 8am to 5pm. This was a diagnosis of problem with washer. There was no repairing or replacement of anything. In all my years of owning homes & cars or even getting cable put in for new homes, it was never an 8am to 5pm window. It was MY problem & I was ok with it but it seemed a little excessive for me to be available ALL DAY. The next day starting with a phone call from technician about my issue went downhill faster than anything I've ever experienced. It was a total mistake from beginning to end with Sears. My Warranty company even gave me the option to call around to have the initial diagnosis done & I decided to let them send someone. I will not make that mistake ever again. I was very disappointed in the Sears technician. He was in a marked van but when he arrived, he never introduced himself nor did he have any business cards. When I asked, he would only give his 1st name & said his other info will be on paperwork which I never received from him. Downhill folks, I will be actively contacting my Warranty company as well as Sears on this one.

Unfortunately three hours after he left the air never came on and it was 87 , we have called an air conditioning firm as you folks couldn't help us, we will now be paying them to fix whatever your guy did wrong….not happy to say the least

Totally rude!!!! Services techs came in and refused to wear booties or take off shoes! When they were finished they told my wife, if you call again for a repair we will not come back.. it takes too long and they have to removed the dryer as it's a stackable

Failed to fix the issue

Sears technicians have been to my house four times to fix a leaky dishwasher. It is still leaking and now after Mike's second visit, the dishwasher will only fill with water but not go into the washing cycle. I now have two issues. Mike speaks poorly of choice home warranty and I feel has been accusatory to us at both visits.

Refrigerator blues

I am very disappointed with my service. On his first visit he diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator was that it needed a freezer evaporator cover and fan assembly. He said I was lucky I didn't need a compressor because that would be more expensive. The part was ordered. On his next visit I was told the wrong part had been ordered. A new part was ordered. On his third visit he determined it was the compressor that needed replacing. 28 days later my refrigerator is finally fixed. Had I been told on the first visit that the compressor needed replacing, I probably would have opted to purchase a new refrigerator, but after 28 days without a refrigerator I opted to have the compressor replaced because he had one with him. Also for each visit I was told he would be here between 8 and 5. That was only true one time, the others were 5:45 and 7:00 PM.
