Great, except a piece wasn't put back and the available customer service basically ignored my attempt to remedy the omission

Dryer repair
Douglas did a good job with the service. I did not get any notifications of the time to expect him. Overall unhappy with A&E. It took 3 weeks to get my dryer repaired and it was not complicated. Only required new drum rollers

Ashley communicated options well and got problem fixed. Ordered control unit and when put in also needed to replace condenser which didn't show up first time.

Wash your work for about 30 minutes and then it did not work after that. It makes some weird noise when you hit the start button.

Michael: Sears Home Hub technician
Michael. call us to give an estimate of his time of arrival. Michael also called five minutes prior to his actual arrival. He promptly diagnosed the problem with our Sears refrigerator. And promptly began the repair. Michael was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I would rate him five stars out of a five star rating system. Thank you very much, Michael.

Why
I don't want to give the wrong rating, but he came in and took one look at the boiler, and told me he can't work on it. He took a photo of the unit and the model number. I provided this information to Sears for the appointment, so why couldn't someone determine if he could work on this unit from your office or his office? unless his job is to verify what I have in my home. So if my expectations were he was coming to fix the unit then IM very disappointed. But like I was saying if he was coming to confirm the unit then my expectations are something different. but if your asking me if John had good customer service skills then he was perfect.

Douglas was extremely rude to my wife.
Douglas was incredibly informative and willing to diagnose and recommend for our washer. However I can't ignore the discussion he had with my wife prior to my arrival to see meet with him. He mentioned he didn't want to work our home warranty company because they were difficult. He also argued with my wife about the leaking problem we had. He also mentioned being close to retirement so I imagine he's becoming less concerned with his demeanor while doing calls. This was incredibly disappointing as Doug has serviced quite a few of our appliances over the years.

Service
He showed up took one look at my machine and said that he doesnt work on that brand, took the parts and left. He was nice but Ive waited a week for service since parts had to be ordered which we correct but not I am stuck as no one fixed by machine

Dishwasher repair
I did not appreciate having a 13 hour window of when they would show up. Also the dishwasher was never secured back to the counter nor was the insulation put back on. We also were just told when the appointment was and I had to change it, then they never scheduled a tech to come to the house.

The problem continues
Douglas arrived in good order and was polite. He had difficulty accessing diagnostic codes and was unable to erase previous diagnostic codes due to limitations of the washer. The difficulty was that the washer has a locked door at the end of the casual and whitest of whites cycles. The problem persists. Douglas stated that he was not able to stay the 54 minutes needed to cycle the casual cycle. Also when he was on his way over I offered to begin the cycle so that it would display once he got here but he told me not to do so. The washer continues to have its door locked at the end of the normal cycle. The problem has not been resolved.
