Wrong diagnosis and No washer for 3 weeks
Our initial diagnosis was the washer just needed a new drain pump. We were please we did not need to replace it, and the technician set up an appointment one week later to install the part after it arrived. A week went by and the part they ordered STILL had not arrived at our home. 1) why would a common part take that long and 2) why would my next appointment not be automaticly linked to the part arriving?? I could not contact the tech, who called 10 minutes before the appointment and I told him the part was not there (which should not be news for a tracked part). He said someone would reach out to reschedule, and I got an email that I had to wait another week. Upset, I called and finally reached a person who said they were unable to contact scheduling, who do not talk directly to them or customers (absurd). He promised someone would reach out by 10pm that night with a new time. Of course, no call. I waited for the follow up appointment another week later, and then the (new) tech explained the main circuit board failed, which cannot be replaced. The pump and washer were useless, something I should have known from the first tech. We needed to wait another week to get a new washer (which I made sure not to buy from sears) I'm not sure how sears could have handled this worse. They refunded some money, but should have given it all back for failures at each opportunity. Extremely disappointing. I called sears because they should be the best. Will not make that mistake again.

Not happy and can't reach an actual person
Supposed to come to switch a glass top of electric stove last week . Window is 8a-5p so it's the whole day of waiting just for the guy to tell us they can't switch it because the caulking wasn't removed from the sides of stove . We were never told to do this before they came . When asked the worker he said oh it happens all the time nothing we can do about it . So my wife wasted a complete day for nothing! We now have to be without a stove stove top for an extra week because of incompetence. I asked them for a phone number to reach a supervisor or any human and was told they do not have a number to give me. Very hard to believe… also had to pay double for the job because we were told it's a 2 person job which is ridiculous in my opinion. The following week got the same window 8a-5p. Heard nothing again til the end of the day ..Finally switched out but not after hearing the workers complain and try to tell us the caulking wasn't completed removed in back which was false and they found that out rather quickly. They complained about the floor not being level also which was just replaced 6months ago and false. Then at the end of the day left the old glass and hurried away. They did replace it good and put stove back so that was a positive ! But overall Very poor experience and very unprofessional from the time window to the completion.. Still can't believe they wouldn't give me a number to reach a person and not a answering prompt. Hopefully the company reads this and contacts me to make it right but big companies seldom do that!
