Needs to be more polite
I was very disappointed in this technicians attitude. He was rude on the phone and when he arrived. Acting like it was my fault we didn't have the parts and that another technician came and put the parts in. I don't want him back if I ever have a repair done. He kept harping on someone coming and did the work. We have been dealing with this since March. If 4 men can't fix this freezer, replace it!

Refrigerator repair
Unable to be specific on my questions. When asked it would be fixed today, responds, I don't know. When pressed he responds Well, you got to start somewhere. Left dirt on the floor and on the island after repair. At the first appt, when explaining what might be wrong, he told me to clean something, that May he part of the problem. I ask where? He replied "there" pointing to the back corner of fridge which was a general area. I had to ask 2 more times, got the same response and pointing. I said, I only see 2 cords there. He finally squatted down to get more specific . I said how am I be supposed to clean under that area He asked if I wanted him to do it. I said yes. He frequently acted like I should know more about how a fridge worked and was annoyed when I asked questions about how will I know if the ice machine will work if how long will it take to cool and what temps are the goal for fridge and freezer.

Repair my oven!
I was alone for Thanksgiving and wanted to start baking Christmas cookies and had the same problem I had before the repair! I could only bake two cookie sheets, after that all the cookies burned. I want someone here, hopefully tomorrow to get my oven fixed!

Repair Dishwasher

Freezer Still Not Working Properly
After the "fixes" (2 visits) the ice drawer in the freezer freezes in place and we cannot access the ice being made.

Tech broke fridge, lied about replacement and follow-up
Pack hinge assemby - wr17x20165 Needed to be ordered after John lifted doors to move fridge and hinge assemby on left door broke. Asked 2x if something had broken and he said no. I noticed part was askew and asked him to take it down. Two pieces were broken. When asked about it he said it was already broken because there were no screws. That was not true. The screws were still there and it was broken when John lifted the fridge by the doors to move it. John lied and said part was ordered and should arrive by 11th and he'd set an appt for the 17th. Needless to say, nobr of this was true. Not happy he was not truthful about breaking the part. Appeared he had diffoculty lifting the fridge. Maybe due to his smaller stature? Mike, the other repairperaon did not have this issue. Placed damage claim with Sedgewick and they are unreachable so fridge is still broken. Do not use Sears. 2.5 months to get part and fix original issue and then tech broke part, lied and fridge has not been repaired and claims process is unreliable.

Samsung refrigerator issues.
The Sears representative told me that the problem was with the ice maker and water dispenser. The previous repair technician said it was due to a power outage and simple reset the unit, said it would work after 24 hrs ; it went a whole week before Vincent showed up with no positive results. Vincent was convinced he diagnosed the problem and was very short in conversation and somewhat rude in his behaviors. He submitted his comments to the insurance company to the claims department. He said that Sears was just bandaid 🩹 fixing the numerous issues over the last few months into years. I have had similar problems with; and numerous parts applied as repairs. I've spent over $800 on diagnostic fees just to have Sears show up, put on a different or same parts and charge my insurance company for their repair efforts. I've had several different Sears repair technicians come to my house 🏡; same/similar scenario with each person. Problems still exist and my refrigerator is still not working due to them not returning to fix it. Reports sent to my insurance company now has them refusing my claim due to parts not covered; the ice maker and water dispenser. Both of which are not used and they don't have anything to do with it's continued ongoing present problems. I would not recommend Sears repair to anyone else because of what I've experienced and still going thru without any + resolutions. I now have to hire an independent repair company to submit their findings and hopefully get a reversal on the rejected claim due to Vincent's recent report filings. He wasn't entirely honest and truthful with his submission. I'm still dealing with contacting the insurance company about the present condition of the unit and dread having you folks return to follow the same steps as before and before and before!
