I'm giving a 5 start only for TROY. Sears would not get this rating because the issue is ongoing. Troy was great, however, completely uneeded visit. Sears is not doing a good job tracking the issue for service and sent him out needlessly. I'm still holding while Sears "researches" for my replacement product. I have yet to receive it. I sent a cancel message, but it never reached Troy. He was kind and punctual and I felt bad he made the unncessary trip. Hopefully we'll get this part in soon.

Fixed problem
He replaced the control panel quickly. Only complaint is Sears gives an eight hour window to be home, but repairman gave 30 minutes notice via phone so it worked out.

Excellent Serviceman!
Troy fixed the display panel on our microwave. It took him three calls which were not his fault. He diagnosed the problem, had the parts sent to our house and installed them. He worked fast and was clear in his explanation of what the problem was. I would give him the maximum number of gold stars. He was GREAT!

Josh called me before arriving and arrived on time. He answers all my questions, did the diagnostic and provide options. He also gave me some good recommendations which I really appreciate.

Had a therapy appointment at the time Troy was coming. He came later in the day. Fixed the Frig and everything went well.

Home repair and estimates
Jim was on time and very efficient in his work. We discussed the auto payment for service and evaluation. Then he promptly got the data of the unit and pulled up the cost of the repair. The only issue was the paying system couldn't process my check. Ultimately the cost of repair was greater than the cost to replace the entire unit so I declined. Given the amount of detail I provided to set-up the appointment, it seems it's worth considering providing the basic cost of repair prior to the appointment. Would have save me the money to evaluate and Jim the waste of his time. Also, when I set up the appointment I was told the technician would be coming from Corvallis. This was not true. Get it right so I can anticipate arrival time.

Slow service
Even if Jim did a good and fast job, Sears itself was unsatisfactory. Making an appointment took a month and the appointments were delayed (by at least 1 month each time). I contacted Sears sometime in early September and the repair was finally done on December 18 all this to repair the door of my dishwasher. I had the parts delivered months ago at home. I wouldn't recommend Sears for repair even though I had excellent service from Sear prior to the pandemic.
