Awesome Service Tech
Johnny did a great job! Checked all parts of our 35 year old Maytag, recommended a couple of belts and a new pump and said everything else looked good. Even said it was smart to repair instead of replace since new ones aren't built as good.
Richard the "AI virtual assistant,"…not so good. The parts came in early, so "Richard" suggested three dates in the future via text to reschedule the service. There is no way to respond to theses texts, so you can't easily reschedule for earlier. Every day for three days, two of which were weekend days, I got a text telling me I could reschedule for an earlier date.
Could I have called? Maybe, but "Richard" didn't provide a phone number with a human attached. The way things are these days, calling in to the "repair center in the sky" could have gotten my original appointment canceled and maybe someone would have showed up for the new appointment, maybe not.
So, I waited for the original appointment. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I received emails informing me that a repair tech was on the way for Monday.
In short, great repair, great repairman!, but their automated system needs work.
