Hard to rate honestly
Scott came knowing very little about my stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. He didn't even check my freezer. The refrigerator he knew about. He was aware of things I didn't realize and appreciated his help with it.

Excellent service
Bryan was very nice and answered all my questions. He was efficient and he always explain if he found any other problem. I really appreciate that he service my washer. There should be more service people like him. THANK YOU, BRYAN. YOU GET A TEN IN MY BOOK!!!!!

Compressor replacement
The compressor replacement seems to have been done properly. Tomorrow will tell the story. The technician was pleasant and courteous, but failed to clean up after himself when he left. He also directed me to throw away his trash, rather than asking if I would be willing to do so. The overall experience was horrendous in that it was an unacceptable period of time to complete the job. That was no fault of the technician. Apparently there is a shortage of technicians and a backlog of parts. Alas, we were at the mercy of the only company that could do the work under warranty. A shame, as there were plenty of technicians in the vicinity, willing to do the work and much less time that we're unable to honor the warranty.

Service for washing machine
Hello Allan was very polite but a complete cycle was not ran to give proper diagnostics of the function of the washing machine. Post servicing I ran a cycle and in the spin cycle it started making a loud noise and it's still leaking water looks like from the lint trap area. Can another technician be sent out please?

Wasted an entire day....
I am enrolled in a terrible home warranty plan called Select Home Warranty and I had a problem with a filter in my Amana fridge so they referred me to Sears for a service call. They gave me a time of arrival between 8 AM and 5 PM and I had to wait all day for the repairman to arrive and he came about 5 PM. I think that is terrible to require a customer to spend an entire day waiting for a 10 minute service call.

did not receive any info on arrival time (window was 8 am - 5 pm, tech rang the doorbell at 8:05 am with no prior notification didn't do anything to fix the problem

Sears home services
My rating would be 0, except Stephen was nice. It took 3 tries to get him here, because, as he admitted, he does not look at any comments on the order, which specifically stated after 3 PM. I lost 2 hours from work, because there is no way to reach Sears repair by phone or computer without going in circles with their AI anwering. I 2ended up taking a day off work in order to be here to meet Stephen. He was here ~5 minutes to tell me that the problem was actually the garage door and not the garage door opener, and he could not fix it. The bracket attaching the opener to the garage door had broken off. If he had called, as it was stated he would before coming, to discuss the problem, he would have been able to tell me this and saved me a lot of frustration and missed pay. I'm am now questioning if, after many years, it is worth renewing my Sears maintenance agreement. I'm starting tounderstand why Sears went out of business.

No ice
I have been without an ice maker for months waiting on a part to come in and once it finally arrives and is installed it still doesn't work. The part was installed on the 3rd and it is now the 11 and still no ice.
