Eric was timely and very helpful, but it did turn out that he was not permitted to repair the crack in the water hose. I appreciated his suggestion on how to fix the problem and I would recommend him unreservedly. A more basic issue: if we had had an earlier and more extensive contact with SHS, it could have been established that no service was possible and I would have been spared the $100+ diagnostic fee. I feel a little bit bamboozled (not by Eric).
