Sears service review
It has taken 6 weeks ... too long to get my freezer repaired. Most of this is due to lack of communication. I don't blame the computer system but I do feel that people who put information into the computer system need to be more diligent and responsible. Javar M did the evaluation and repair was very professional and responsible, explaining everything he was doing, what he was ordering, the time frame, etc. He left a piece of his drill at my house and I would like to return it to him but apparently there is no way I can contact him. All the phone numbers I have for A&E are robot answered with no option to talk to a real, living human being speaking English. I also tried to get answers to my questions early on in this procedure and could not contact any living person. I finally went to a local appliance repair store who were able to give me some info for my questions. I don't understand why I needed to go through Sears when this local store could have done just as good a job and without all the confusion. I'm very disappointed in my experience with this issue and most of my friends are aware of what I have gone through. I have lost a lot of food and most of all ... I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE GE WARRANTY PROGRAM. I will probably not purchase another GE appliance. I have ALWAYS had GE appliances in my 61 years of owning a home. Not sure if anyone will be reading this review or if they will follow through on my concerns but ... that is just showing another way GE apparently cares for their customers: who cares about maintaining good customer relationships to ensure better business. Our service was done fast and accurately. The service tech described each step that he was doing to correct our problem. He put in three of the four parts that we received. The only part he did not put in was the fan motor which he said was not needed. He took the fan motor back with him to return it to the manufacturer , presently our refrigerator is running fine

The experience with Rodney was great. The calling in was less than pleasant though as a repair was scheduled and I wasn't notified that someone wasn't actually scheduled to come.
