Excellent service, after 11 weeks of frustration
On Nov 8, Joe came in and quickly determined that the problem was external to the washing machine. The check valves in the water supply hoses had failed closed. No repair was required. This, after we initially requested support on Aug 24. Parts were ordered and a Tech assigned to visit on Sept 6. That visit was delayed until Sept 20, then delayed again until Oct 14. The tech who finally visited on Oct 14 installed the parts. This did not fix the problem, which he then diagnosed (incorrectly) as a control board problem, which he said he ordered but never arrived. That repair was scheduled for Nov 6, then rescheduled for Nov 8 when Joe arrived and correctly identified the problem. Keep Joe; he's excellent. As for the rest of our recent experience with Sears Home Services, we are happy to say that we will never again rely on your dysfunctional organization.

Awesome Joe
Joe is a kind and knowledgeable man. Fixed our dryer in no time and gave me helpful hints for the dryer… (ie. only one dryer sheet at a time so vent doesn't get covered and dryer overheats). Gave me helpful hints for my wringerless washing machine too so drum stays balanced. Most appreciative of his great service!

Joe was very professional and explain everything. I put a load on after he left, I noticed it didn't heat up on normal load all the others seemed to work fine. I have to can Best Buy and tell them it doesn't dry on normal load.

My experience with the cancellation of my October 1st. Why? I still don't understand. Most frustrating. I think it had to do with the automated phone system. When the call came through I was on the line. I responded immediately, however, I didn't connect after hitting the response button! For some reason it didn't go through. Then I was assigned an appointment 10/14!!! Two weeks was a long time to wait. Although I called Customer Support, their effort to schedule me sooner was unsuccessful. At, 83 years, it's been difficult. Now it's done. Machine is working. I'm most grateful for what Joe was able to do.
